A 42 year old guy in Ohio decides it is time to teach his 14 year old daughter how to shoot.  Why he waited so long, I dunno.  Hell, she’s practically marrying age.

So they go outside on the back deck of their home at the 9200 block of Dog Leg Road.  I am assuming they live in the country.  The father proceeds to teach her how to use a 9mm handgun.

The father forgot one lesson.  The police reported —

He said the girl fired the gun once without any problem, but the second time her finger was on the trigger it unexpectedly discharged a round.

Jackson said it takes a lot less pressure on the trigger the second time you fire this type of 9mm gun.

And now she knows that while at the hospital having shot both herself and her father in the leg.

The How To Use A Chainsaw lesson has been postponed.
