Fun With Guns: It’s a Two-Fer Edition
So sometimes the gene pool needs cleaning out and these two guys were doing their part.
Fun With Guns is only fun if no one dies other than the gun nut. In this case, there were no good guys and bad guys, only idiot guys.
Road rage in Michigan.
Witnesses say that Pullum pulled into the parking lot of a car wash and Taylor who was at the time tailgating him followed him in. Both men exited their vehicles and began to argue as the argument escalated, Taylor pulled his gun and began to fire. Pullum, who was also carrying a gun, drew his and returned fire. Both men apparently died at the scene.
Yeah, gun fight at the car wash corral.
Thanks to Glen and Alan in Austin for the heads up.
An armed society is a polite society!
1Ah, for the “Good Ol’ Days” when being polite to one another wasn’t considered being “Politically Correct”.
I’m sure the families of these men will be consoled by the fact that they each had their 2nd Amendment rights handy.
2Now there’s a gun nut story with a happy ending.
3Dumba$$es.
Double Darwin.
4Professor Chaos, there ain’t nothing politer than a dead guy.
5On the bright side, two less R’s will be voting in 2016.
6The real bright side is that there was no collateral damage in this spontaneous live-ammunition replay of Bunker Hill.
7@Annabelle Lee
8These fun with guns stories remind me in a demented sort of way of the great Jim Stafford’s lyrics in his otherwise unheralded masterpiece Cow Patty
“Forty shots rang out. Forty people fell. Patti and the killer missed each other but they shot the town to hell!”
2 gun nuts dead! And this is bad? HOW???
9Without easy access to guns, a couple of bloody noses. With easy access to guns, two funerals. As Annabelle Lee says, good thing it was only these two morons.
10O, damn! I had lately been reminiscing about autumn in Michigan and perhaps returning there for a foliage tour this year but I might have to deeply reconsider that and find something else to do before the snow flies here, like maybe paint the house.
11Unfortunately, probably too late for cleaning out the gene pool. One was in his 40s the other in his 50s. Both probably passed their genes and attitudes to another generation.
And at least one of the families is ‘proud’ that he was ‘defending’ his family. Putting your family in a position to get shot by stray bullets sounds like a real winning strategy to me.
12Taylor seems to have been the aggressor here and Pullum was defending himself, so maybe the outcome leaves room to mourn for one of ’em?
13Wonder who thought they won?
14open carry, advertising for idiots.
the up side is they only shot each other and not some one just trying to clean their car.
15What does it say about me that I laughed when I read this?
16This sounded familiar. How many gun nuts shoot it out at the local car wash? This happened in 2013. It came out, I think, a bit after the incident, that one of the guy’s mother was in the car at the time.
Sheesh.
17Easy cleanup. There’s always a silver lining.
18Imagine the relief of the mother to have one less idiot driving her around.
Good for them; they died doing what they had both fantasized doing ever since they thought about buying guns: killing the bad guy.
19It sounds as though they were better shots than the usual.
Uh, they did shoot each other and not themselves, right?
20Gene Pitney, rest his soul, flat out lied to moi when he sang “when two men go out to face each other, only one returns.” (From the Man Who Shot Liberty Valance)
