I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.

Did anyone notice the the Russian’s illegal war was everything Rumsfeld and Cheney said their own illegal war would be, short, cheap, self-financing, and they were welcomed as liberators.
When it comes to doing the wrong thing, Republicans try hard, but they screw it up every time.

2last night and all the anger I felt during Bush’s phony justification for invading Irag flooded back. It WAS all about oil just as everyone suspected. That’s what happens when Republican’s have total control of Congress and the Presidency. That’s what they mean by leadership. Time to watch “Wag the Dog” again.
My husband always said it was ‘Saddam tried to shoot my Daddy’ which may well indeed have been Shrub’s motivation but it makes me nauseous to think of all the dead, maimed and mentally broken service members, billions of dollars & economic havoc All to secure a bigger & better Halliburton profits retirement for Dick & his poisonous daughter Lizzie. Not counting the (for the most part uncounted) 100s of thousands Iraqi dead and injured
3Oh, but, Bananas, it created American JOBS!
Not just jobs building the bombs and planes and shoddy armor for our troops, but making casket flags and burying bodies and designing prosthetics and giving mental rehab (if any) to our heroic troops!
4Yep, lots of jobs there. One thing that annoys me about the big oil and gas boom is that we could be making lots of jobs from designing, building, transporting, marketing, installing etc all sorts of energy efficient products and renewable energy products. I WANT TO KNOW WHO GETS TO DECIDE WHAT HEADLINES GO ON THE PAPERS AND WHO IS PAYING THEM. Oil and gas may be news but so would the renewable energy if we paid attention and quit going to war over oil and gas.
