Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Well, it has finally come to this. Absolutely cannot decide which one I would pick, so what the heck, ALL OF THEM!
1Regarding the voter fraud toon. Last week the Houston Chronicle reminded everyone that between 2005 and 2022, there were 94,000,000 votes cast in Texas and 174 were found to be fraudulent. The true voter fraud are these crazy regulations cooked up by the GOP!
2Nailed them. The first one is just hilarious.
3One thing stands out for me like sore thumb: they alway say “The life of the MOTHER.”
That is a very loaded statement right there, isn’t it?
“The life of the woman” is what should be said.
4All good and sadly true about the state of the election for president and politics in general. Taking #’s 14 and 18 together, it’s hard to understand the undecided with any brains.
5My goodness, Kathryn, I don’t think I had ever thought of that! You are soooo right.
And Steve: Yes. There is no chance in hell that someone is truly “undecided” about whom to vote for. The indecision is whether to Not Vote At All as some sort of useless (except damaging) protest. MAGATs are never undecided. It will only ruin Dems’ chances if that voter (or not) has a hissy fit and thinks by not voting he or she is being civic-minded or noble.
6Apologies, Katherine, for misspelling your name. I should have noted that when I was replying. As a person whose name is misspelled and mispronounced regularly, I should have proofread my comment more closely…Sorry!
7Okay, this is weird. I wrote a comment agreeing with Katherine and called her Katheryn. Now that comment has disappeared.
Also I agreed with Steve. The undecideds are not dithering between which candidate to vote for. MAGAts know who they are voting for, and so do Dems. The undecideds are being “noble” and sacrificing by not voting at all, thus skewing the race
8entirely.
Regarding the shark,….
9Wouldn’t the battery kill the shark ?
Problem solved ! You’re welcome
Wow–how to show respect and love for your daughter and all of her family. That must be fun during the holidays, Xtian or Jewish.
