I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.

The vote on women’s rights was in no way an “empty gesture” — it was a demonstration of Democrats’ ongoing promise to do their best to preserver women’s rights and a blatant example of GOP hatred for women’s personal power. That cartoonist missed the mark by a light-year.

I’ve commented a lot here over the years about my perception of people’s intentions. A lot of it has been repetitive, because so many times I’ve tried to clarify, or show things from a different perspective.
Because language matters and sometimes the same thing said differently takes on different meanings.
Something really caught my ear watching the first episode

Competing ideas of liberty.
