Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
BS Customers, I am a recovered Catholic. Please understand I believe we are going to hear more about the Vatican than we ever cared for the next few weeks~Save Us All~from MSM, particularly the cheerleaders who cannot get enough.
I still want a pair of fancy red shoes, tho.
1Left the church 2 years ago.
A new pope will not change many things that are wrong in the church.
I wish that Catholic women would stand up and say, enough is enough and walk out until things change.
2Nuns in a Bus! That would blow the Cardinals’ skirts up.
3I agree, Susan! If nuns voted, maybe we’d end up with a pope who doesn’t want to silence any group of nuns with a progressive agenda.
4Nuns on the Bus – if they were in charge, the entire Catholic Church would be 100% improved.
Diane is correct – the Church would be quick to change if the women walked out.
5I’m not sure women could decide to walk out because they have never been 100% in.
6I always wondered why the men got all the colorful robes and gowns, and the poor nuns only got black and white…………seems those men like it rather splashy and fancy…………they couldn’t be uh, er, …………..nah……….surely not.
7Most nuns I know have too much sense to attend that mess. I would like to see a majority of the entire voting group to be Sisters of Loretto……
8Scalia. What an appropriate name. I think that’s the plural of scales in Latin.
9The Middle Ages called… they want their misogyny back.
