Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Speechless …
1Biggest . . . internment camps . . . well, get used to it. We ALL may end up in them.
2Love the ‘toon showing the hypocrisy of the R-Klan, decrying Trump’s hate-mongering yet fully supporting him.
3maggie, if there is ever a T-Rump rally anywhere near us (doubtful, we’re lucky) the Martin Niemöller poem would be a most apt protest sign.
“First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me. ”
Some have spoken that there could be a T-Rump/Crud ticket. If there is, I will consider it Il Duce and Il D—–. The second sort of rhymes with the first and suits the Crud personality.
4This is true. Last night I dreamed about guns being shot. What with Trump and Cruz and is the govt or is it not going to shut down, I think I’m worried.
5So the Repubs denounce Trump for his comments about banning Muslims from entering the U.S., but most of them are still okay with advocating bombing Islamic countries until the sand glows in the dark. (And not incidentally killing a whole bunch of people.)
Cognitive dissonance, but without the cognitive part.
6Makes me wonder where I’ll end up. I am a straight white male ages 18-65 so I should be golden. But, I am an atheist and refuse to “fake it” so as not to offend. Will we have our own camp or will all non-xtians be put in the same ones and segregated by race/gender? Have to admit, living in Texas, the idea of being locked up with people that think like me is actually a little appealing. Maybe they will just stick us all in a blue state. I’m hoping for the west coast.
7Just heard that Trump isn’t the only one who prefers to run as an independent. Carson is pulling the same card trick. I can just see all of them running independently! Buh-bye, GOP!
I can also hear with my little ear El Donaldo having a hissy about this. He had already staked out that independent spot for himself and no one else. See? That’s narcissism for ya!
8A group of students at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) have a brilliant plan to embrace young American Muslims. Please help them go viral with their message of peace.

TRUMP
Are you *really* surprised at the outcome of the 3/4 mark of the SPECTACULAR campaign to delegitamize the POTUS. We are very much frogs in the soon-to-boil bath. We have just gotten USED to libellous/slanderous attacks on the President, gerrymandering of US congress, and almost daily massacres.
God forbid we wish for peace on Earth, & goodwill towards all others…
10Thanks for the link PKM. It’s a great plan and deserves support. It has the potential to lead to a time when the good and decent people so outnumber the Dumb Farks that they retreat into their asylums.
11I think we need to forget Trump, Carson and Cruz for a a bit and focus our support on the House and Senate races, both Federal and state. THAT’S where the action is.
12James Earl Carter is cancer free. Chalk one up for a truly great human being. Wingnuts should get on their knees and pray that they be given the opportunity to kiss a real CHRISTIAN and even better human being’s feet.
13@Truly Texan: Oh how you bring back memories! I remember the time they wanted to round up all the homosexuals and put them on an island. I said fine! Hawaii. Big Island. Come back in 20 years. It’ll look FABULOUS! Every Gay Pride Day we could throw a hetero into the volcano. Pele would be pleased.

15No fair hogging the Big Island, site of our best vacation ever!
Lunargent: Hey! Not hogging. They’re the ones who want to put us on an island. Of course another choice would be Guantanemo. We could rebrand it as GuantaneMo: The Gayest Part of the Caribbean.
