Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Regarding that last cartoon – we are a country of lunatics. Terrorism if the shooting is done against the military but not against civilians, meanwhile there are yahoos who believe the same military is out to take their guns away, round them up and imprison them in abandoned walmarts. And now there are idiots “guarding” military facilities. We just keep speeding down that rabbit hole without an end in sight.
1My favorite is the flag pin removal. Spot on!
2glf: I agree entirely.

Actually, I don’t think it’s “Terrorism” because the military was the target, but because the shooter was a Muslim. White, Christian guys are never Terrorists, only Loonies.
3Added: oddly enough, though, the bullets don’t care, and the victims are just as dead.
4Loved the Armadillo Armored Invasion spotted by the keen Texas Guard observer. Mission accomplished, I guess.
5Good collection this Friday.
6I thought the armadillo was the state bird of Texas.
7Onion, The state bird of Texas used to be the mockingbird. When Cruz was elected, it became the loon.
8Good one,Henry. 🙂 🙂 That is worth 2 likes.
9Q: Why is the Republican party so unstable?
A: Because the base is cracked.
10Best cartoons ever.
11Henry, Minnesota’s state bird really is the loon. You insult our bird when you call Cruz one. Be nice.
12Minnesota’s state bird is the blood thirsty skeeter. Or was that Alaska’s state bird? 🙂
