Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Self-explanatory….
1‘Muricans? Those furinners are comin’ to take away our gunz and asparagus!
2My stick horse didn’t have a wheel. Back in the 50’s and early 60’s wheels hadn’t been invented.
3Awesome thought of the week: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4zjYDYqlvaM/VUrCcx_eNUI/AAAAAAABPuw/R_UlDVXcRf8/s1600/keith%2Bknight.png
e platypus onion, in my best Scooby-doo voice, I hear you man. H/T for a great parody of GOP “science & history.”
4Well, I heard that in the tunnels under those closed Walmarts scientists from Texas are busily reverse-engineering the wheel. Pssst! Don’t tell anyone.
5Nowadays the patriotism level of a Texas right-winger is gauged by how much he hates the rest of the country.
“I love my country. I just hate the people in it.”
6we’re screwed
7That Supreme Court one is great because you can re-use it for several situations, just change the verbiage in the word balloon:
“Everybody who needs a bio-break to change their Depends, raise their hand”
“All in favor of theocracy….”
“Who ordered the Mai Tai?”
8Scalia doesn’t appear to have an opposable thumb. Maybe he is sitting on it to keep his air hole to his brain open.
9One more question for SCROTUS, “Who wants to turn the clock back to 1860?” Hands up.
10Steve Sack works for my local newspaper, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. He won a Pulitzer a couple years ago. He’s so good.
11To maryelle at 6:42:
Do they want to go back to 1860 AD, or 1860 BC? That’s the question.
12Doesn’t matter what the korporate goody is,they’re all in favor of it.
13Terrific array.
