Five of the Top Twenty

December 17, 2014 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

GQ named the 20 craziest politicians and only 5 of them are from Texas.

I suspect they have not visited the Texas Legislature.

Thanks to Kyle for the heads up.

  1. They’re probably afraid to. I know that I wouldn’t want to be inside the Capitol on most days while they’re in session. I would either puke or slap someone silly.

  2. @Mike re “slap someone silly” in the Lege
If you didn’t do that before about 1956, somebody else beat ya to it.

    2
  3. Oh Dear Lord! Two of them are from North Carolina. Sweet Jesus.

    3
  4. e platypus onion says:

iowa gots more crazy per capita than Texas.

    4
  5. If Louie didn’t clock in as #1….

    List may be bogus.:)

    5
  6. You can see how they had to stretch a bit to include two Ds in the pantheon of Rs.

    6
  7. The Texas leg. would have been better represented if GQ had listed either the twenty most ignorant or twenty meanest politicians.

    7
  8. Sadly, these people are politicians. That means that the people who elected them share in their crazy.

    8
  9. Now, JJ, don’t get all greedy. Other villages can have idiots too.

Funny thing about that list– only 3 D’s out of 20. As the writer says, we’re just not keeping pace with the crazy these days.

LynnN, have to agree. The craziest people in the country are the ones who keep electing these jackwagons, even while they’re in Congress bragging about refusing to do things that a majority of Americans want, such as background checks on all gun buyers and something effective about climate change.

Maybe I wasn’t paying close attention 30-40 years ago, but isn’t the place crazier than it used to be?

    9
  10. OK. Just how low was the bar.

    10
  11. Pollytiques says:

Paul…JUST Two? I have to check that out I betcha they are carpet baggers that have been given their offices as “party” favors by the Koch’s

    11
  12. Pollytiques says:

Yeap I was right…Mark Walker was born in Dothan Alabama and got the job because of gerrymeandering. That used to be my district until they put 8 counties together and spent 2 million dollars to give Renee Ellmers a district. She is from Michigan. Virginia Foxx was born in The Bronx, New York City. I cannot think of her without thinking of that Salsa Commercial. I read somewhere her first election cost about 2 million too..For sure a woman running a landscaping business couldn’t come up with that much money. Bet a dollar there are people doing the stores scut work she is against being in the US when she is speechifying. The borders we should be worrying about are the borders of NC…see what happens when you just allow anyone in.

    12
  13. Michelle Bachmann must be so disappointed! She’s worked really hard to deserve mention on this list. This is her last chance! We Minnesotans are SO shocked! We thought she was certain to lead the list.

    Michelle is #1!
    Michelle is #1!
    Michelle is #1!

    13
  14. Mary Suarez says:

I live in Utah so at least 5 have to be from here

    14
  15. I would agree with Pollytiques. Fortunately, Tillis and his turkeys failed by only two miles of sticking me in Mark Walker’s district.

    15
  16. Linda Phipps says:

#20 … now listen here, Joe Biden is the GOOD kind of crazy.
