Does He Know Something We Don’t Know?
Republican Representative Steve King is generally way out there, but now he’s bringing back stories.
Rep. Steve King got a little mixed up in his remarks at the Iowa Freedom Summit this morning, accidentally remarking that Americans “come from every possible planet.”
The Iowa Republican quickly caught himself and said that the DREAMers protesting the right-wing event are the ones who really come from outer space.
Yeah, Tijuana – tenth planet from the sun.
Actually, it would be the ninth planet since Pluto is not a planet. That statement itself is probably over King’s head.
1I believe that’s how some folks on the right really view others.
People from other countries, gay people, black people, Muslims, etc. might as well be from another planet.
Or King might have just been dizzy, what with having had his ring kissed by so many very important people and all…

If the interplanetary Americans have the ability to fly here from other planets, it should be no problem to print fake voter IDs. So they must vote Republican, as there’s no call from Rick Perry, Scott Walker, etc to conduct special voter ID inspections to insure the integrity of elections.
Also, if they fly here from other planets you can bet they’re in the 1%, (those saucers are pricey) and REALLY know how to invest offshore.

13Fred F, very interesting post there! It is always safe to be warmonger when you are not in the midst of the fray – and likely to never be there. Must say that Steve King seems a bit short in the brains department, so hard to understand how he could have completed three years of college at all!
