Do You Need Another Reason To Remove The Sumbitch?
According to the Washington Post, the day that will live in infamy passed unnoticed all across the country.
A record 3,915 people died of covid-19 in the United States, the deadliest day of a pandemic that has claimed more than 360,000 lives across the country.
We knew the second wave was coming. We knew that we would need a plan to vaccinate everybody in the country as fast as possible. We knew that a federal effort was needed. Trump put Jarred in charge, which means Jared pocked the money, got vaccines for his friends, and left town.
And here we are. Right here. More people will die today than died yesterday.
We don’t have 14 days to waste.
Get rid of this guy.
His majesty and his minions are all worthless, but I don’t want Pence to be President and then pardon his majesty as he flees. Our lawmakers need to think this through. Can he just be sedated, put in a straight jacket and loaded onto a jet to Elba.

3I also don’t want pence anywhere near the potus chair. I think I’d heard he planned to leave the country as soon as the yesterday’s joint session of congress concluded. Not sure which country would allow him in, though.
I think Trumpf needs to be handcuffed to his toilet and his mouth taped shut for the next 13 days. Put pictures of covid victims, victims of his dereliction of duty, in front of him so that he can get the images permanently ingrained in his brain.
Just now Nancy Pelosi officially called for invoking the 25th amendment or the house will quickly act to impeach Trumpf.
4“Police” as an actuality goes way, way back, even farther back than the development of police in Great Britain. Way back to old Roman times when a moneyed man could go to the local pub and hire the layabouts found there and pay them to protect his property and family, even to move off site and do some serious injustice to somebody else at the behest of the patron. Believe it or not, the word for this kind of group back then was “collegio”. In the long reach of time, the police force we see these days was created in our great-grandfather’s time or if you are a little older than I am, in your great-great grandfather’s time. It took a while and some hard work by a few people in particular to whip up an actual police department let alone the profession itself. For instance, around the turn of the 19th to the 20th century, constables on the beat in a big city made a whole whopping $4 a week. If he was married, this meant his family sometimes ate scant meals. He would be a pushover for anyone who could offer him a few more bucks to look the other way at a certain time. A police academy took a long time coming to fruition as a real deal. As a job, it was often an immigrant who applied, likely a member of the latest wave of imports from many other places in the world with their own cultures. Nowadays it is not unusual to meet up with a college educated constable. Starting salaries in a northern Virginia county just outside D.C. are good enough to permit an address in that county.

I posted this very late in the “Holy Damn Cow” thread but don’t know how many of you saw it, so I’m copying it here because it goes to Trump’s sick state of mind. And why he should be removed immediately. I’ve always been extremely concerned about the lame duck period should Trump lose, and here we are, with a possible 13 days to go. Anyway, here’s the post.

7White House officials were shaken by Trump’s reaction to a mob of his supporters descending on the Capitol today. He was described to me as borderline enthusiastic because it meant the certification was being derailed. It has genuinely freaked people out.
