Diversity – Smersity: Let’s Make Fun Of Other People’s Religion

September 19, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Once again, I will tell you that I live in the most diverse county in America.  That’s a fact that we have kept secret from Republicans.

In order to attract Hindu voters, they thought this was very clever.

Click here to see the big one.

It is bang your head on the desk bad, especially the  “Would you worship a donkey or an elephant?”  Republicans are willing to exploit sacred symbols for patronizing political mileage.

I just thought I’d let you see this because you probably wouldn’t have believed me unless you saw it yourownself.

Be social and share!

  1. Ralph Wiggam says:

Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, not an elephant.

  2. At least they didn’t use that ad to promote a steak dinner… /s

  3. I have heard the tale of Ganesh before and it sounds way the hell better than this looks. Seriously!!! How big is the Hindu vote in this country? I would never have thought of it this way! Now, are they going after Mohammed’s birthday? Or Budda? I’m betting they are now over their heads by several fathoms and have no idea how to save themselves.

    3
  4. After decades of “Better Dead Than Red”, this is an obvious indicator of where the Republicans have ended up. Led by a bunch of ex-communists turned gangster and governmental in Russia.

    4
  5. I want a “like” button so I can “like” Ralph Wiggam’s comment!

  6. You just know somebody said. “Those people worship an elephant, right? So they’re natural Republican voters! Somebody get up a picture of their elephant telling them to vote for our people!”

A little knowledge is an ugly thing.

  7. Buttermilk Sky says:

Thanks. I wouldn’t have believed it without seeing it. And my guess is most Hindus in Ft. Bend County will see right through this cynical pandering, have a good laugh and vote against the party that wants to make this a Christian theocracy.

  8. In India there are many political parties, each with a name and closely associated symbol. The symbol is even more important than the elephant and donkey in American politics, it’s so Indian political parties can be recognized by a fairly large population of illiterate voters. The symbol is even included on the ballot to help their citizens vote for the party they intended to vote for.

So when the Republican Party in America plays up the relationship between Ganesh and the GOP, it’s a little like saying “we consider you a somewhat backward and simple people, we’re not entirely sure you can read so we’ll include both the visual and written message on our poster, just to be sure you understand.”

Add that to the many reasons their Happy Ganesh message is offensive.

  9. I’m offended, and I’m not even Hindu. Republicans are the ultimate in tacky.

    9
  10. Not related (directly), except to underscore the unbelievable dissonance between what the GOPs accept in their chosen avatars and their stated goals/standards:

“MSNBC hosts stunned by bizarre praise of ‘uncontrolled male passion’ from Kavanaugh friend Mark Judge” ^. The guy they want to be on the SCOTUS is being vouched for by a MGTOW asshat that may have also taken part in the assault. I am sickened by the depths they will go to…

  11. Why does this remind me of Trump’s conspicuous consumption of a taco salad?

    11
  12. An elephant produce about 300 lbs. of dung per day; a distant second to what the average Republican politician spews out daily.

    12
  13. I’d’ve believed you, because Yeah, @RealDonaldTrump really is that stupid. urged Spain to build a border wall across the Sahara desert: foreign minister – https://www.rawstory.com/2018/09/trump-urged-spain-build-border-wall-across-sahara-desert-foreign-minister/

    13
  14. Is there a way to link this to the trump spawn killing elephants for “sport”? (pisses me off every time I think of it)

    14
  15. I wonder what the folks who put this out would think if another graphic was generated. This one portrays Jesus as a socialist who got stiffed for the fee he was supposed to get for his gig as the face of Zig Zag rolling papers.
I bet they’d think that was HILARIOUS.

    16
  16. The FBCRaP needs your help! A couple thousand copies printed and distributed to phone poles in your neighborhoods now! This is a great display of the GOP colors red, red and red, along with a touch of Ganesh blue to show diversity. And of course white, which as anyone knows is made up of all colors.

    17
  17. The extreme irony is that Ganesh is the remover of obstacles. The exact opposite of what seems to be the mission of GOP.

Very, very tired of hitting head on desk.
