Dan Crenshaw

December 15, 2020 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Retired 4-star General and 11th Commander of U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Tony Thomas is not near as impressed with Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw as Dan is with himself. Thomas called the ad “embarrassing”

Dan, a former Navy Seal, cut an ad for the Georgia senate race.  You have to see it to believe it.  In the ad, he specifically target AOC and Kamala Harris.

Crenshaw defended the ad yesterday afternoon, proudly proclaiming the ad raised $100,000 in donations, which, I suppose, is about what it cost to make it.

Dan Crewshaw – the only man I know who can strut sitting down.

Thanks to SGray for the heads up.

Makes a person miss the late Senator John McCain. And, on the question as to which is most embarrassing to veterans, Dan Crenshaw or Traitor Tommy Cotton, the answer is “C” – both. McCain was a maverick of sorts with whom disagreeing on policy at a 90% clip, one could still respect and like the guy. Cotton & Crenshaw are no maverick; just one half each of a horse’s ass.

It’s had over 4,000,000 views, so it’s raking in a whopping 2 bits per view.

Possibly more people are laughing at him than with him.

  3. I can’t *believe* how bad that is. Though the diving out of an aircraft looks fun.

And what’s with the English accent overlord thing? Didn’t we ditch them at some point…

    3
  4. I don’t think that eyepatch gives him the look he’s hoping for.

  5. Sorry, that was a strange sentence, but you know what I mean.

  6. Wow. And the Lone Survivor in a supporting role.
If I didn’t know better, I’d almost think Dan just kicked off his campaign for leader of the militant wing of the new authoritarian repugnantcan party.
Encouraging every wanna be spec-op with a long gun to take a road trip to Atlanta for a scare-the-libtard jamboree is just a happy coinkidink.

    @ AK Lynne

Totally understand & it’s not going to be half as strange as the word the internet coins to describe his vibe. A combination of douchebro/cyborg/fascist villain type thing.

I’ll update you when I see it.

  8. Wow!. Impressive display of testosterone. Are you sure this is not SNL? He’s terrifying. Who are the candidates running against the 2 GOP candidates he is supporting? I think they need some funds from Texas.

  9. Elm Creek, it’s SNL. Their tell is, “Watch Again”. As if…

  10. Whoa, that’s some authoritarian fantasy shit right there. I’m always happy to watch a good military/spy movie, but I prefer the bad guys to be, well…the bad guys. Like Russia or North Vietnam. Or Ernst Blofeld. Not the majority US political party.

This is not how I envisioned our Congressional representatives spending their time.

Well, it does have a cartoon look and style that appeals to little boys.

  12. I found the part where Dan jumped out of a plane quite believable because up until that point he played the role of a crazy man with great authenticity, but then his parachute opened.

  13. Toxic masculinity has a comic component, who knew?

  14. Grandma Ada says:

Oh barf! And you notice his two sidekicks. The Chronicle all but said sorry for recommending him in an editorial today. I think he’s trying to get Louies number one spot in Texas Hall of Shame.

  15. How stupid do you have to be to fall for that? And some of those images look like an incitement to violence to me.

Like yesterday’s post about sheep with maggot hats- there’s a large population of gullible cultists out there. Those folks deserve what they’re getting for their money, poor actors pretending they’re smart and working for them. The good news for the repugnantican Crenshaws in politics, these sheep don’t know when they’ve been duped.

    16
  17. Who does he think he is? Chuck Norris?

    17
  18. @BFSMan, #17: I think he more thinks himself as Nick Fury (60s version)…

  19. When he takes his tie off , you know he`s ready to *fight* the female politicians . He`ll lose .

I couldn’t even watch until the parachute jump….what an ass.
