Damn DOMA

October 18, 2012 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

It is a great day in America when an 83 year old woman gets to defend the Constitution.

Thank you, Edith Windsor and Thea Spyer.  Edith, you did a soldier’s work today and Thea must be very proud of you.  I know I am.

Well done and God Bless America!

I’ll bet the average blood pressure in Southern Baptist homes went up 30 points when they got the news. Damned heathen Democrats, always wanting people to be equal and have rights..

  6. Good for her, and for all strong women and men resisting bigotry.

Any judge who can read the Constitution, especially the 14th Amendment about states not denying citizens equal protection of the laws, should strike down DOMA in a heartbeat. Whether we have a majority of Supreme Court justices who can read is still a question.
