Cowboys and Yankees
I am not going to make jokes about the Dallas Cowboys and sinking ships, okay?
Oh hell, you know I am.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones will host Gov. Chris Christie at his home next month– helping to fill the coffers of his team’s most ardent fan among the 2016 contenders.
It’s a bundler party. The limit one person can donate is $2,700 but the guests are expected to raise that amount from ten other people, too. So … they are partying on other people’s money. You know, the Republican way.
Thanks to Kyle for the heads up.
Well, if they have to feed Christie the budget might be blown before they start.
1I’m always amazed at how you are able to get the most unflattering pictures of your nemesis, and good pictures for what you want to promote.
2Larry: It’s impossible to find any picture of Christie that isn’t negative. His baby pictures were probably gross. 😀
3@Larry from Colorado, trust me, that is not the most “unflattering” picture JJ has of Christie. The picture of him in skin tight, white baseball pants, complete with camel toe, is the worst. It requires bleach to clean your eyes and nothing has been found to erase it from your memory.
4June, did you really have to remind us of that? I had nearly erased it from my mind. I shudder at the memory.
(Would love to send it to Larry from Colorado. He ain’t seen nothin’ yet.)
5omfg….
6june, you’re killing me! It’s way too early in the morning for that image.
If you and JJ want to damage the Outlaw Jersey Whale, I suggest the photo op of him hugging President Obama. That one sets the GOP base heads to explosion levels.
7What do you call 53 guys sitting around watching the Super Bowl on TV? Answer: The Dallas Cowyboys!
8Ugh! It will take months of hard work to rid myself of that nightmarish picture of Christie in baseball pants again. That said, I’ve got nothing against the wealthy wasting their money on a loser like Christie–or any of the other occupants of the clown car.
9See where somebody left two cowboys tickets on the dash of their car. When they came back there were FOUR tickets sitting there.
10GAWD JUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
11DAMN
@Mike
12Yeah that happens. Some Cowboy season ticket holders will even break out a driver door glass to pitch in their tickets.
Christie’s always out to make himself popular in New Jersey….

You asked for it kids, and here it is. Watch with care!
14There is a chance that Trump will also show up in some sort of athletic uniform. Let the comparisons begin!
15June started, but epo and Maggie, you’ve made it Much Worse! Where are the Hitchcockian birds to peck my eyes out? Oh, the horror!
16Can’t stop seeing The Outlaw Jersey Whale waddling around the gathering hugging everybody. All my ears hear is Burgess Meredith as the Penguin, qwanh, qwanh, qwanh.
17OMG Maggie … No!!! It’s bad enough T-Rump wears that stupid baseball cap … My eyes … my brain!!
18Fortunately for all of us, I don’t expect to see Trump in anything more athletic than golf wear. I don’t think he’d condescend to participate in any sport where you don’t have another guy to schlep your gear around for you.
And I hope that whoever made the catastrophic decision to send Christie out in that horrendous uniform got canned on the spot. I can’t stand the guy, but as a Person of Size myself, I was too busy cringing in sympathy to laugh much.
19It’s always been the custom for politicians to show up on the mound in a pair of slacks and a shirt with the sleeves rolled up and collar open. Why Christie didn’t opt for that is beyond me. If he wanted to present a more athletic image it really, REALLY didn’t work.
So happy all that conservative money will be circling the drain.
20A Ponzi scheme to make money for the party (Party?)…that sounds like something Christie would understand.
21Good news for NJ: he hasn’t been here too much to screw up the state more than he has already.
Bad news: he is soaking the NJ taxpayers for the salary, room and board for his traveling security staff.
Think he will use some of that money to reimburse the NJ taxpayers???? I won’t hold my breath!
