Clarence and His Wife
Okay, so there’s this large and cheerful rumor going around the internet machine this morning that Clarence Thomas is considering resigning after the November election.
I can see where that rumor got started. I mean, with Scalia gone, who has their hand up Thomas’s hinney to operate him like a muppet? Apparently Scalia left a well trained replacement.
Clarence’s wife, the resentful and odd Genni Thomas, says no way that’s happening.
Paul Bedard is a writer for the Washington Examiner and Genni does not like him one little bit.
Sorry if I ruined your Monday, but Thomas is here to stay because Genni says so.
Now this is FUNNY! The Examiner is a right-wing ragsheet. And THEY are pushing this item? Too damn funny…
1Ginni does have a point. By definition “retirement” implies “work” at some point in time. Under the “no facts in evidence” rule, a google search reveals no evidence of “work.” To be fair, if her darling Clarie vacates his seat, “retirement” would be an inappropriate descriptor.
2This is the same woman who contacted Anita Hill a couple of years ago and wanted her to apologize. I wouldn’t put a lot of trust in anything she says. (Not to mention, she married Clarence Thomas.)
3She could pretend that she let’s him think. Next time you want to know anything about him, Don’t ask him, ask her.
4Consider the source. Ten to one he does declare his retirement before the end of the year.
5Looks like Ginni is a real shrew and Clarence may retire and dump her in rapid succession. Or is he so hen-pecked that he will stay on until Ginnni says he can retire?
6Gee…..When I started reading that I thought he was going to retire so Ole Orange Face could pick him as his VP!!!
7Is it a ploy to get the base to vote republican?
8The Supreme Court would be liberal for a long time if Democrats won the WH and could replace 2 judges!
She’s a busy little conflicted witch,ain’t she?

9“unnamed sources” are a problem? faux noise is in big trouble.
10I give Rhea a THUMBS UP for her comment. And to PKM, for his as well!
Since Clarence dons a long, black robe [dress], it would seem dear Ginni obviously wears the pants in that dynamic duo!!
11Heard at the Thomas residence this morning, “buckle up, Blondie. I’m leaving in the RV. You coming, or not?”
Probably not. Ginni has a number of lucrative grifts and cons from which she loves her revenue. As for old Clarie’s road trip; not likely that Ginni would let him loose with his big bottle of little blue pills and no adult supervision. Figure his “vacation’ to be postponed, until Ginni says it’s go.
12Perhaps she just can’t imagine having Jabba the Judge around the house all day.
13As soon as all this nonsense over Scalia’s seat is laid to rest, and the Court returns to a liberal majority, why in the hell would Clarence want to stick around?
14He’s disgraced the bench long enough.
15She probably can’t stand the thought of not being the Queen of the “Tea Party” ™ and all the lucrative scams that comes with. She also doesn’t want him staying at home in just his boxers all day long. Fat Tony doesn’t need a caddy anymore.
16The numbers don’t exist to measure how much I detest that subhuman for what he did. And she wants Anita Hill to apologize?!!!!! For what? Being honest, classy, articulate, courageous, strong, dignified? Neither Thomas is fit to lick her garage floor clean with their hairy tongues.
(Good link epo. Gracias.)
17He proved what a mercenery SOB he is when he failed to recuse himself in the Citizens United case.
For those who don’t know, it was none other than Citizens United that paid his legal bills during the Anita Hill affair.
That he doesn’t recognize (or, more likely, give a damn about) a conflict of interest when it slaps him in the face as unavoidably as a week-old mackerel only proves how unfit for office the old fart is.
18C’mon now, who really believes that Uncle Clarence will retire while a Dem is president? He’ll wait for a Republican president. Which means he’ll die in office. Of old age…
19I ain’t makin’ no predictions. I do know how it is to have an old man sittin’ around the house all day.
