Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Happy Holidays to everyone that frequents THE one and only WMDBS!
1I still can’t find where the heck I put the aluminum pole after last year’s celebration . . .
2Slipstream, you think maybe somebody missed the point of the tradition and got a little reverse-aggieved?
3I mean if anyone present last year acquired some modern art with 2″ aluminum pipe as it’s centerpiece since then, your mystery could be solved.
Or maybe a chain link fence with a post that looks a little different than the other galvanized ones?
happy holidays … hope those at the WMDBS enjoy a well-deserved day of rest and celebration.
And for those who want a mixed message of celebration this season, may I recommend the most recent of the “What’d I Miss?” feature at the Colorado Sun. https://coloradosun.com/2021/12/24/whatd-i-miss-finding-whats-beautiful-in-the-world/
