He’s All A’Twitter

May 01, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

As you know, Mueller’s questions to Trump were “leaked” and somebody read some of them to Trump.

Oh yeah he did.  He didn’t use the word “Collusion” because he didn’t know if it’s capitalized or not.  However, some of the questions ask about suspected collusion.  How would you ask about collusion while using the word collusion?  “Mr. Trump, did you commit raw naked chafing collusion?”

How ’bout this question?

1. “What knowledge did you have of any outreach by your campaign, including by Paul Manafort, to Russia about potential assistance to the campaign?”

There ya go – collusion.

Does Trump know that he’s supposed to answer these questions with complete sentences?

By the way, the Washington Post suggests that the leak was purposeful and it’s beginning to look like it came from someone close to the Trump legal team but not actually in it.

Oh Roy Moore, Don’t Ever Go Away.

May 01, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Just to remind us that Roy Moore jokes are always fresh and funny, he’s back in the news.

He’s filed a lawsuit alleging a “political conspiracy.”

The suit was jointly filed with his wife, Kayla, about an hour before the two held a news conference. It was Moore’s first public appearance since election night in December, when Moore, a Republican, was upset by Democrat Doug Jones. The defendants include three women who made accusations against Moore as well as two other people.

These harlots gathered up in a cabal to plot the downfall of Roy Moore.

Moore immediately began asking for donations to defray his legal expenses.

A female lawyer for one of the woman spoke from the pits of witchery:

“Mr. Moore said nothing new and is using this as another attempt to fleece money from his followers,” Cobia said, adding that Moore claims “to be broke despite” receiving about $200,000 a year in pension from Alabama.

And, just to add fun to the whole lawsuit thing, he also sued two other people who hurt his feelings.

The other two people named in the complaint — Richard Hagedorn and Debbie Wesson Gibson — are accused of “revealing their true political agenda to ignore the truth” through social media posts that looked to “discredit local politicians and Senate candidates.”

Can you even imagine anyone using social media to discredit someone else?  I mean, except for Trump.

Thanks to Phyllis for the heads up.

Fun With Guns: But Not At The NRA

April 30, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

I know that the NRA tells us that the more guns we have, the safer we are, but not Mike Pence.

The NRA posted a disclaimer on the NRA-ILA Leadership Forum event page, saying that due to Pence’s attendance, Secret Service will be responsible for event security. Therefore, “firearms and firearm accessories, knives or weapons of any kind will be prohibited in the forum prior to and during his attendance.”

The NRA is trying to contend that it’s not them outlawing guns at Pence’s speech, it’s the Secret Service.  I guess the Secret Service hasn’t seen the validity of the NRA’s second amendment thoughts. And I guess nobody told the NRA that the Secret Service is the government.

I thought the big, tough, NRA guys said that the government would have to pry their guns out of their cold, dead hands.  To see them willing to give up their rights to see Mikey in person gives me pause to reconsider their tough talk.

Not only that, it also gives me a headache.

Just a Little Treat, Texas Style

April 27, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

There is a run-off in the Republican primary over who is going to replace Lamar Smith in Congress.

Both candidates are Trump Republicans and aside from being weird and scary, they appear to be challenging each other to a prayer-off.

Meet Chip Roy.  He’s mainly afraid of America becoming Britain, where they kill sick children and what not —

…we will see a true dystopia that mirrors the nightmare we’re seeing play out in Western Europe.  A dystopia marked by open borders and sovereignty stripped away by unaccountable and rogue judges whose oath is to ideology instead of the Constitution.  A dystopia where the pews sit empty as our society secularizes and our culture erodes from a people who place their hope in government instead of God.

He’s worked for Ken Paxton and Ted Cruz so he’s running on the Scare The Hell Out Of You platform.

And then there’s Matt McCall.  Ole Matt is Conservative. Christian. Constitutionalist.  CCC?  On the front page of his website —

If I gave you a nickel overtime he says he’s a Christian, you could buy Boardwalk with three hotels.

I want to tell you something.  If two Republican men talk about being Christian that much, I’ll give you two to one odds that both of them are stealing your silverware or having carnal knowledge with farm animals.

Next week, we’re gonna look at who is giving them boatloads of money.

Pray For Paul, Y’all

April 27, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Somebody please send Paul Ryan a hand basket. He’s gonna need  it for the ride.

Referring to the GOP’s Tax bill, the House Chaplin prayed …“May all members be mindful that the institutions and structures of our great nation guarantee the opportunities that have allowed some to achieve great success, while others continue to struggle,” Conroy said at the time. “May their efforts these days guarantee that there are not winners and losers under new tax laws, but benefits balanced and shared by all Americans.”

Ryan fired him immediately, saying, “Padre, you just got to stay out of politics.”

In other words, “Yes, Father, there is no morality or decency left in politics and we’d like you to keep it that way.”

I hear that Ryan is looking for a priest from the Pious Sanctuary Church of Gordon Gekko.

And That’s Why They Call Him Smokey Joe

April 26, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Smoky Joe Barton, congressvarmint from Texas, got his name because he’s a playtoy of big oil and coal.

In the Pruitt hearing today, he felt real sorry for his hero, Scott Pruitt, because Pruitt was a victim of politics.  And then Smoky Joe said he’s not for too much clean air.  He told Pruitt —

“You got picked to be the EPA administrator because of the service you provided for the great state of Oklahoma in fighting some of the Obama administration radical clean air policies.”

Yeah, too much clean air is a radical idea.

Then poor ole Joe asks this:

“You’ve been attacked for flying first class,” Barton explained. “Is that illegal?”

“That was approved by the travel office and security team at the EPA,” Pruitt replied.

Joe, nobody said it was illegal.  It’s wasteful of taxpayer money, cocky, entitled, and incredibly stoopid, but not illegal.

Watch out, Louie Gohmert, somebody is chasing you.
