Members of Congress have only one choice: vote for impeachment or…vote for treason; incitement of seditious acts to interfere with and overturn Congress,  incitement of violent invasion of federal property, vandalism of federal property, and theft from federal property, conspiracy to commit violence, conspiracy to murder the Speaker of the House, conspiracy to murder the Vice President, plus all the other crimes Trump has committed (obstruction of justice, corruption in diverting taxpayer money to his own purse, etc.)

A vote against impeachment is a vote for treason.  

A vote against impeachment is a vote for inciting seditious acts by others.

A vote against impeachment is a vote for inciting violent invasions of federal property.  

A vote against impeachment is a vote for vandalism and theft from federal property. 

A vote against impeachment is a vote for conspiring to murder the Speaker of the House and the Vice President, legal successors to the president should he be impeached.  

A vote against impeachment is a vote for inciting a violent riot that has resulted in five deaths so far and many more injuries of those attempting to defend Congress.

A vote against impeachment is a vote for attempting to force Congress by violence to halt or delay a Constitutionally mandated action–reading out the votes of the Electoral College–and thereby overturning the results of the Constitutionally mandated method of electing the next president.  In other words it is a direct attack on the Constitution’s authority, the basis of our rule of law, as well as on the election process.

A vote against impeachment is therefore a vote against each Congress member’s oath of office to uphold and protect the Constitution (not their party, not the president) against all enemies foreign and domestic.  It is proof that whoever votes against impeachment has broken that oath.

It should be pointed out to every member of Congress that a vote against impeachment will be on their permanent record forever and will mark such individuals as oath breakers, as opponents of the Constitution, and as enemies of this nation.  Every single one of those should be ejected from their respective houses.  

Spell it out for them if they don’t get it.  We’re not talking about Clinton’s coercive bouts of oral sex with employees, gross as that may be: we’re talking about active, violent, deadly actions against the Constitution, against Congress, against the American people.  Treason, inciting sedition, inciting violent attacks on the nation’s Capitol and Congress, in order to overturn the results of a legal election.    

Okay, remember the 55 year old guy you’ve heard about who died by repeatedly tasing his balls at the Capitol riot?

Sorry to say, it didn’t happen.  But maybe what did happen is even better.

According to his wife and Snopes, he died of a massive heart attack.

But Lady Karma did her due diligence to people who spread false rumors …

Texas attorney Paul MacNeal Davis was terminated by his employer, Goosehead Insurance, for posting a video of himself inside the Capitol.

He left a picture of it on Instagram.

And then, oh and then, he said.

“I already lost my job because of the Twitter mob. I’m not upset. I’m thankful to be suffering for righteousness and freedom.”

Wanna know the easiest way he could have avoided this?  I mean, beside not going to try to overthrow the United States government? The easiest way to avoid this would be to … wear a damn mask, you ignorant fool. Hell, nobody would have thought anything about it, except that you’re not trying to catch Covid.

Then, not having said so much that people are asking what he did with the money his momma gave him to go to law school, he has to draw a comparison to his life and “MLK-style civil disobedience.”

I swear to God almighty. NO.

First off, Martin Luther King did not break into the Capitol and tear things up.  Civil disobedience by definition is passive, which you would have known if you had been reading law books instead of prancing around the Capitol with some very squirrelly people.

This guy has been arrested in Florida and charged with violent entry, disorderly conduct, theft of government property, entering and remaining in a restricted area, and obnoxious headwear. Come to find out, he’s only voted in two elections, 2004 and 2020. I dunno, maybe he’s not real political and thought this is what they meant by taking a stand.

Congress really has only one move at this point. If they are waiting around for Mike Pence and the cabinet to do the right thing they are going to be left holding their breath. Articles of impeachment are really the only way to go and there are a few reasons why.

As most know now, Congressional action can bar him from ever holding elected office ever again. So, even if they eventually convict in the Senate after January 20th, the process still has teeth. It will neuter him politically and effectively end his gravy train. There will be no more legal fundraising for possible future campaigns. It also would likely kill any possible political futures for his children.

Secondly, symbolic gestures matter. He already is the third president to be impeached. It says something if he’s the first to be impeached twice. That’s historic on a staggering scale. History matters and when we look back on this period a generation from now, our kids and grandkids will learn about how horrible he was and hopefully we will never have to through it again.

Finally, we need to force the Susan Collins and John Cornyns of the world to pick a side. Trump obviously didn’t learn his lesson. This is a chance for Republicans to stand up for America. We know where Ted Cruz is. We know where Lindsay Graham is. They made their bed. An impeachment vote brings their treachery out into the open. Their final allegiance will be recorded for all of history.”

General Russel Honore needs to be put in charge of everything.  I swear to goodness that if we put him in charge of vaccines, we’d all have a shot by next Thursday.

On MSNBC last night, he said the FBI and the Pentagon were complicit in this. That takes a ton and half of guts.
