Oh Sweet Jesus, Mike Huckabee, shut the hell up.

Fox News Host and former Governor Mike Huckabee (R-AR) doubled down on his claim that the murder spree in Connecticut was caused by removing God from schools, linking the shootings to “tax-funded abortion pills” and society calling “sinful” acts “normal.”

Okay, here’s the deal.  From now on, any proclamations from Mike Huckabee must be followed by the political disclaimer of, “My name is Jesus and I did not approve this message.”

By the way, there is no such thing a “government funded abortion pills,” unless, of course, you count Mike Huckabee as a pill.

So, I have at least one more thing to say before I get back to being irreverent.

On Saturday, Bubba and I were cruising down Highway 59 outside of Houston and saw a large state highway digital sign giving the quickest route to the George R Brown Convention Center for the “High Caliber Gun Show.”   Less than 18 hours after the school massacre, traffic had to be rerouted to a high caliber gun show because it was backing up.

I wish I had gotten a picture of the highway sign but to be honest, Bubba and I were both so stunned that just driving and sucking air was all we could do.

I guess in honor of the school shooting, children under 12 get in free at the Christmas gun show.

You would think that good taste would cause them to close the high caliber gun shows for at least 24 hours.  That’s what you would think.  And, like me, you would be wrong.

I was so proud of our President last night.  He showed courage and wisdom.  I, for one, think we have had enough blood sacrifices to the NRA.

We the People, a petition site at the White House, says that it will publicly respond to any petition that gets 25,000 signatures in a month.

That, my friends, is a worthy challenge.

And America is up to the task.

Here ya go.  Secure resources and funding, and begin construction of a Death Star by 2016.

By focusing our defense resources into a space-superiority platform and weapon system such as a Death Star, the government can spur job creation in the fields of construction, engineering, space exploration, and more, and strengthen our national defense.

Or, better yet, use it on states that want to secede.  Or the silent filibuster.

Sunday morning and Texas Congresswhacko goes on the electric television to argue that the answer to guns, of course, is more guns.  Which we know would work because more alcohol always cures a hangover.  Same deal, you know.

Gohmert argued that the mass slaughter would have gone differently if Sandy Hook principal Dawn Hochsprung had been armed.

“Chris, I wish to god she had had an m-4 in her office, locked up so when she heard gunfire, she pulls it out … and takes him out and takes his head off before he can kill those precious kids,” Gohmert said.

and then in the next breath, he says …

Gohmert argued Sunday that tighter gun controls such as assault weapon bans are not the answer.

“Once you start drawing the line, where do you stop?” Gohmert said. “That’s why it is important to not just look at this emotionally.”

Emotionally?  Did he say emotionally?  I certainly hope  that speaking on the Lord’s Day about asking an elementary school principal to take someone’s head off is an emotional response because if it isn’t, Louie Gohment quit being weird and funny and just crossed over to join hands with the killer in cold blooded psychopath.

And I do have an answer to where do you stop drawing the line.  Start drawing.  Assault weapons.  Stop  drawing.

I hear that after the show, Louie had to go wash the blood of the lambs off his hands.  Just a rumor.

Louie Gohmert says he’s going to be on Chris Wallace tomorrow. It’s the end of the world, y’all.

Mike Huckabee claims to be a man of God.

He’s not.

I told you a couple of weeks ago about him glorifying the use of violence against violence.

And now, faced with the fact that little children have been victims of violence, Mike says it’s because we took God out of the school and apparently God is pissed about it.

We ask why there’s violence in our schools, but we’ve systematically removed God from our schools. Should we be so surprised that schools have become a place of carnage? Because we’ve made it a place where we don’t want to talk about eternity, life, what responsibility means, accountability.

So I guess there was a shooting in a church because we took algebra out of the scripture.

Mike Huckabee worships a mean, vindictive spiteful God.  It’s certainly not my God.  You cannot take God out of schools.  God is everywhere.  God is far more powerful than Huckabee’s little wimpy mean bully God.

I know the NRA is already preparing press releases that we should let teachers have guns to keep this from happening.  Well, those kindergarteners’ teacher did have a gun, several in fact, and her son used the teacher’s guns to kill her classroom.  So, NRA, just shuddup.

And Mike Huckabee, there is a real special place in hell for those who call Lord, Lord, in vain.
