I’ve told you guys about my bout with a rightwing Christian radio host in Houston who would talk about me personally on the electric radio and then ended up in prison.  For winkie waving in front of little girls.  And then he couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t let him have an internet radio show in prison.

And then there was Michael Berry, another Christian rightwing Houston radio talk show host who got caught in a hit-and-run at a gay club on drag queen night.

Let’s make that three!

A host for a Christian radio station in Michigan was busted for paying to have sex with minors, federal investigators said.

John Balyo, 35, was collared on child sex charges after investigators with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement linked him to a human trafficking case, authorities said.

So, there ya go.  It’s a movement.

I don’t like Bobby Jindal and always will.

Somewhere in the back of his head, he thinks he’s better than you are and he slums to politic.  I believe that.  You can see that in his eyes.  You will never convince me otherwise.  And he’s prissy.  I don’t like prissy people.

But, he jumped from prissy to dangerous in one sentence.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal on Saturday night accused President Barack Obama and other Democrats of waging wars against religious liberty and education and said that a rebellion is brewing in the U.S. with people ready for “a hostile takeover” of the nation’s capital.

The old, white, stingy Christians are playing martyrs again.   We won’t let them divide America between the haves and have-nots.  We won’t let them dictate what religion is the state sanctioned religion.  We won’t let them make laws about who we can love.  We won’t let them force our children to say prayers not of their own hearts.  We won’t let them force us to have babies, work without equal pay, or ignore science.  We won’t let them arm every nut in this country to go shoot our children at school.

And they are the martyrs?

Hostile?  Really?  So, Bobby, you on your tippy toes and Ralph Reed on his ladder are going to war against my government?  Yeah, right, Skippy.

Most of you have noticed that I have been a tad distracted for the past couple of weeks.

The Fort Bend County Democratic Party sponsored a fundraiser yesterday with Senator Wendy Davis.  I was in charge of it so by yesterday morning, I was pulling out my hair and screaming at people I really like.  If I screamed at you, I apologize.  Unless you had it coming, and you probably did.  Then I ain’t finished screaming at you yet.

Every seat in the joint was filled.

And Senator Davis was phenomenal.

Texas Democratic Party Chairman Gilberto Hinojosa, Congressman Al Green, Senator Davis, County Chair Bubba, and Missouri City Councilman Chris Preston.

Next week is the Texas Democratic Party’s state convention and I will be bringing live reports and probably even twittering #crabbait

After that, things will be back back to normal.  Oh hell, I can’t even say the word normal.  Things will be as screwed up as usual.

There is a dog fight in Lucas County, Ohio.  It’s Republican vs. Republican.

A Lucas County Republican Party organizational meeting that turned into a brawl last week has prompted congressional candidate Richard May of Cleveland to suspend campaign activities in that area for the next two months.

“The physical confrontations and acts of uncivility are embarrassing to Toledo, the Republican Party and the conservative movement,” said a statement released by May, the GOP candidate for the congressional seat currently held by Toledo Democrat Marcy Kaptur. “I condemn these thug tactics.”

Well, there ya go.  Republicans and I finally agree on something – they are the party of thugs.

The fight was over who gets to be the Republican county chair of Lucas County.  It took armed guards to settle down the right-wingers.
