Fun With Guns: The Good Guy With a Gun

July 12, 2015 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Well hell, Georgia.

Steven Fincher is 29 years old and lives in Winder, Georgia, with his mother, his sister, and four minor children.  And whole freekin’ mess of guns.

So Friday afternoon at about 1:30 pm, Steve decides that shooting up the neighborhood would be a helluva lot of fun.

So he starts randomly shooting from his house.  Police say that Steve “was involved in an argument while drinking with a family friend.”

No one was hurt.  But that was purely by accident.

The NRA was nowhere to be seen.

Thanks to Carl for the heads up.

No, No, Not Jesus. Not Jesus At All

Gregg County, Texas, is so East Texas that if they slip, they will fall in Louisiana, so they are not big on this whole gay marriage thing.

Their County Clerk, Connie Wade, refused the gay couples who came to get married and explained that she was “waiting for direction from the Attorney General.”

Yep.  That’s the reason.

Yep – there’s a Jesus wall in her county office.

Connie says the crosses are other’s, but being to one of her employees.  She got threatened with a lawsuit and took them down.

Thanks to Alan for the heads up.

Here ya go.

“If you’re too tired to defend this country, if you’re too war-weary, don’t vote for me.”

Lindsey Graham
Who Served in the Air Force JAG Corps
The closest he ever got to combat was using a pencil sharpener

And, no, he does not appear to have a plan to pay for his war.

Thanks to Bryan for the heads up.

Speaking of the Bush Family

Right here, right now:  The difference between guts and gall.

UnknownFormer President George W. Bush charged $100,000 to speak at a charity fundraiser for U.S. military veterans severely wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan, and former First Lady Laura Bush collected $50,000 to appear a year earlier, officials of the Texas-based Helping a Hero charity confirmed to ABC News.

The former President was also provided with a private jet to travel to Houston at a cost of $20,000, the officials said.

Holy hell on a rampage – the guy who got them wounded is charging them $100,000 to help them.  That’s $100,000 in blood money.

His parents live in Houston.  He couldn’t have come for free?

How much money is enough money for the Bushes?

And They Say He’s The Smartest Bush

Ding!  Ding!  Ding! We have a winner!

Here ya go – the Idiot Olympics is entering the final round and Jeb Bush has taken the lead.

UnknownAccording to ABC News, Bush was asked a question about tax reform during an interview live streamed on Periscope, and said he believes the U.S. can achieve 4 percent growth.

“Which means we have to be a lot more productive, workforce participation has to rise from its all-time modern lows,” Bush continued. “It means that people need to work longer hours.”

Yes, that’s the solution!  And those child labor laws – so antiquated!  Weekends are for losers.  And if a Mom isn’t working at least three jobs while raining her kids, then she’s the cause of everything bad.

Way to go, Jeb!

It’s Local, But … Damn

I tend to cringe at the words Fort Bend County Republican Party. Those are some sick puppies with judgement sticks in their hands and overflowing hypocrisy mugs.

Every election year, they file complaints against the Fort Bend County Democratic Party at the Federal Elections Commission. Every year we answer the complaint and we win. They find some ole retired guy with absolutely nothing to do and it’s his job to tie Democrats up in paperwork for months.

We don’t reciprocate because we don’t have to. The FEC finds plenty to complain about on their own.  Most of the time it appears that they are playing money pool.  They bounce money around, trying to figure out how to make it all fit.  Or, hiding who gets paid what.

But the latest is a blast!  They show themselves to be $22,000 in debt but won’t say who they owe the money to or how they got so deeply in debt.  Here ya go, look for yourself at some very creative mathematics.

I’ve known about this for a while but I was waiting on the FEC to catch it.  They did.  Here’s the Holy Hell What Are You Doing letter right here.

Sneak Peek:

Okay, I admit a certain degree of glee over the mess they have made.  And glee that they appear to be deeply in debt.  And that they have paid a law firm for “legal and compliance” (aka God only knows what) to the tune of $22,805 this year alone.

Keep up the good work, guys.
