In the wake of news organizations pulling out of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, SCROTUS just announced he is not attending. Of course, he did it on Twitter. He’s trying to avoid the huge embarrassment of being savaged by unrelenting truth.

As Juanita Jean pointed out yesterday, a progressive activist passed out Russian flags with CJ’s name on them at CPAC, and, not recognizing they were being punked (or that they were Russian flags), dutifully waved them with enthusiasm until panicked aides hurriedly gathered up and disposed of them. It was hilarious, and the perpetrators of this epic trolling were Jason Charter and Ryan Clayton, who brilliantly showed the stupidity of participants in the conference.
It was perfect, but not the only problem the SCROTUS White House had yesterday. Last night, to show his techie coolness, Mike Pence tweeted out that the United States stands with Israel, even using cool little emojis of US and Israeli flags. Very cool – with one exception: the “Israeli” flag emoji was actually the flag of Nicaragua. LOL.

During the campaign, Cheeto Jesus’s senior staff was able to somewhat curb his twitter wars was to provide him a steady stream of praise by planting stories in conservative media like Breitbart, Infowars, and Daily Caller who would dutifully print them. As long as his ego was stroked, he would tend to not get into as many twitter wars. The new WH staff has not been successfully keeping his ego fed, and the result has been his late night drunk tweeting, gloating about his electoral win and ridiculing (companies, political opponents, television stars, foreign leaders; put your victim here) ________________.
So, the new SCROTUS has an ego so fragile that the only way to minimize his school yard bullying on Twitter is to keep him soothed with praise? God help us.
Remember all the howling during the Obama administration about the “Vacationer in Chief”? Or the “Golfer in Chief”? What was so ridiculous is that the same howlers were silent during GWB’s over 1,000 days on vacation during his presidency. Well, the howlers are all silent again but what’s amazing is that they are silent about the new SCROTUS’s soaring vacation costs. Since January 20th, he’s taken 3 jaunts to Mar-a-Lago, courtesy of the US taxpayer, costing $11.3 million. Yes, $11.3 million in 4 weeks, almost equaling an entire year of the Obamas’ travel costs. The noise from the screaming tee vee heads and congressvarmints?
