Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
YEH,
1RICO.
All of them.
2Sic’em FBI. It’s more than time to get those criminals caught, bagged, and put away.
3The wheels of justice, turning slowly, probably more like a grinding motion for members of the Trump family.
4Let’s not get into a tizzy here. The statement does not name any of the Velveeta Voldemort’s family, and investigations like this have always tended to nail low-level employees while the CEO types scoot off with their multi-million dollar “bonuses”. And let’s face it: the Grump Organization has been blatantly criminal long before 2016, but New York did little. I don’t count having them agree not to run any more “charities” as punishment for their blatant theft and lying on legal documents.
Not to mention that Florida’s governor will never agree to extradition of the Tang-colored blobfish to New York state.
Don’t get me wrong: I’d like to see that whole grifting family in nice, prison orange leisure suits. But it will probably take federal charges to bring on that happy day.
5Elizabeth #3 – you’re right! Many of the FBI are basically IRS agents with guns. This could get very interesting!
6Eliazeth @ 3,
The sooner, the better for this country. I think July would be a good month.
7That’s true Surly, Florida may not extradite him, but what if the orange jackass takes his carnival show on the road? If he holds one of those love fests then they could swoop in and pick him up there. I’m not holding my breath, but a man can dream can’t he?
8And a very good morning to you, too, JJ!
I believe His Heinous is planning to, or already has, said Sayonara to Florida for the summer and is staying at his golf club in New Jersey. NJ won’t hesitate to FedEx his ass to New York on demand.
9Nope, still not holding my breath. I’d dearly love to see his sorry a— in jail, and all his demon spawn with him, but I won’t believe it until I see it.
10If the lying, cheating fraudster and family paid for the crimes of their business dealings, I would be thrilled beyond description. However, I, too, am skeptical that he or anyone in his orbit will be dressed in orange jumpsuits over this. Even though they should be prosecuted for felonies, I’m guessing there’ll be plea deals with fines and promises over misdemeanor financial crimes at best. I hope the NY proves me wrong.
11IANAL but there are two threads here.If trump is sued civilly and charged criminally, he might not be able to contest the civil suit (at least, not effectively) from outside.
12I find the headlines interesting, but I feel too much like the kid who’d been promised a bicycle either for Christmas or his birthday for four years running and was stiffed each and every time.
The Donald and his circle has shown a remarkable talent for ducking the consequences of their actions for decades. I’ll believe they’re finally facing real justice when the Criminal indictments come down.
13Get him while he’s in Jersey. Democratic guv, no extradition issues. Or just catapult him over the Hudson.
Let’s see, Manhattan DA’s Office looking at him. NY State AG looking at him.
I can’t wait till Rudy rolls over and the US Attorney starts digging. Not ANY US Attorney, but the SDNY. The SD stands for Sovereign District, not Southern District as some would think.
That reputation was well earned as the most independent prosecuting office in the country. Got dinged a little in the dark ages of the orange menace, but I’m feeling confident that there will be a strong comeback with a few high profile cases.
14The latest is that Allen Weisselberg will be included in the trumpf organization criminal investigation. I would be optimistic if he gets charged because he could save his skin by throwing his boss under the bus. And there’s little doubt anything that went on went thru trumpf and Weisselberg. Maybe then trumpf will face criminal charges. I hope.
15Trump called this “an investigation desperately searching for a crime.”
Kinda reminds me of his attempt to get Ukraine to investigate Hunter Biden for . . . well, anything. Or nothing. Just wanted the investigation.
