  1. The delusions are strong in this one.

  2. G Foresight says:

The delusion is spreading. Plague, part 2.

“A Republican House candidate who will lose 75-25 is now falsely claiming massive voter fraud cost her the election.”

  3. Isn’t this the same person that said Covid was just going to disappear in a week or two? Or that he had a great new healthcare plan he was going to unveil in the next couple of weeks – several times?

We can laugh, but never take your eyes off that snake until he’s been safely put in a cage – or at least out of the White House!

  5. I’m hearing talk again about manipulating the electoral college, and at the moment, after days of joy, I am worried again. I hate this.

Cartoonist Steve Greenberg explains the election results:

It has been said that Donnie doesn’t “do words” and to draw him a picture. Let the Twitter War of Reality begin. Send him your favorite loser cartoons, until Donnie gets the picture.

Step1 was defeating Donnie. Step2 may prove more difficult – radiation therapy for his covidiot followers and his enablers in Congress.

  7. That Tweet might be as close as we get to a concession speech:

    WE ARE MAKING BIG PROGRESS
(Biden has done more in the last few days than I did in years)
RESULTS START TO COME IN NEXT WEEK.
(Biden’s actions will produce immediate accomplishments)
    MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
(He’ll fix the problems I created)

  8. Oh, goody; I get to practice the Electric Slide again. I’ll take my walker this time, I can last longer that way.

  9. Headline: Major law firms representing Trump are growing increasingly frustrated with the president’s antics: report
    Some have even resigned.

Edit: ”Doing business with Mr. Trump — with his history of inflammatory rhetoric, meritless lawsuits and refusal to pay what he owes — has long induced heartburn among lawyers, contractors, suppliers and lenders.

  10. AK Lynne @ 5,

I’m sure that it would be much easier to blackmail, bribe, and/or manipulate the 538 members of the electoral college than millions of popular votes. The scary part is that their vote counts more than the citizen votes. This democracy is on shaky ground.

I am upset that President-Elect Biden is being denied access to the designated transition funds that he needs. Can someone ask Bloomberg or Yang to front load the funds?

The White House docs need to sedate Trumpy and put him out of his misery.

  13. Steve from Beaverton says:

AK Lynne @ 5 and Papa @ 10- I believe manipulating the electors in the EC has been their plan for a while now because they know overturning votes will fail. Keeping up the narrative they are pushing of a rigged election will in fact resonate with electors that will make it into the college who are actually Trumpf faithful. Earlier I read about the campaign operatives planning to communicate with targeted electors to go rogue. Hope that’s just a false conspiracy, but Trumpf is desperate and is similar to how he and his family (including Fred Drumpf) did business. When this scheme becomes apparent, does anyone think AG Barrf will investigate?

  14. Steve from Beaverton says:

And in addition to my comments above, moscow Mitch Mc saying today that he won’t acknowledge Biden won the election until after the EC votes plays right into the narrative of manipulating the EC. Bill Kristol wrote an article yesterday basically saying we should not dismiss repugnantican state legislatures from taking steps to manipulate the EC. Starting in Georgia. Chaos squared.

  15. john in denver says:

    Karen in New Mexico @12:

Biden & team have money (and can get more). They cannot get security clearances to enable access to national security information. They have no authorization to go into agencies and expect requests for information to be honored. They have no access to the civil servants who can outline options on programs and services. They cannot ask for and get cooperation from law enforcement and tax enforcement in order to get information about prospective appointees.

One tenth of the transition period will be gone as of tomorrow. There is no clear end date on the GSA’s delay.

  16. Laurel in California says:

Mike Pompeo today, to press: “There will be a smooth transition to a second Trump administration.” Hard to tell whether he really believes the stuff that comes out of his mouth, maybe thinking his schemes are gonna work, or whether he’s just trying to keep Caesar Disgustus calm a little longer.

Meanwhile, as John @15 points out, Biden’s efforts to set up an actual smooth transition are being blocked as much as possible. Luckily Biden and his team are not novices at this. I’m guessing they may also be getting some unofficial help from people in government or elsewhere who are deeply concerned about the country.
