Because … Jesus
If ya ever want to know what Jesus would do in a situation, here’s the last place to look.
Vandals spray-painted graffiti at two mosques in the Southern California city of Hawthorne and left a device that looked like a hand grenade in the driveway of one of the mosques on Sunday, prompting police to investigate both incidents as a hate crime.
Police received another call that the phrase “Jesus is the way” was spray-painted in front of the Islamic Center of Hawthorne.
Obviously there’s something missing. Jesus is the way … where?
Looks like the Prince of Peace got punked by his followers.
I betcha the punks have a coupla things to learn.
1The idiots that do this know no more about Christianity than they know about Islam.
2Read about this in a history book; something about the decline of the Roman Empire. When as a nation did we become so st00pid, and how did it happen so fast?
You betcha, Dubya. No child left behind and you learned them good.
3More evidence of people unclear on the concept.
4If Jesus ever comes back, he’d be killed by “Jesus” followers.

If instead of Christians(?) defacing mosques, someone spray painted “Mohammad” on churches. And left simulated explosive devices in the manger scene out front.
What do you think the nationwide reaction would be to that? What would Trump and Cruz have to say then? And why do they say nothing about the attacks on mosques?
6When I learn of this sort of thing, I generally look up the address of the mosque/church/synagogue organization and send them a check for $5.
Not that I’m cheap (well, maybe I am), but the idea is to make a statement supporting the US Constitution. I still get nice emails from a mosque in NYC that is located near the Twin Towers site.
7That’s right @glf. Jesus would be a long-haired, bearded, robe wearing Middle Eastern man who speaks Aramaic, arriving without a passport. Suspect for sure.

TTPT, I’ve seen that image too. No doubt the Christianists regard it as blasphemy! They *know* Jesus was Germanic/Scandanavian. The Supremacists know that because, according to their Christian Identity religion, white people are actually the Lost Tribes of Israel. From their website:

16One does have to wonder why one tribe of goatherders in the Middle East should be the Chosen People of God, or why any group should be. Looking at the Hubble Deep Field and contemplating the size of the universe and our part in it, the whole idea is nonsense anyway. As one of the more sensible ancient Greeks said, if horses had gods, they’d look like horses… and if ducks had gods, they’d look like ducks, or something like that.
