And the Walls Continue to Close In…

November 04, 2019 By: El Jefe Category: Trump

A three judge panel in the Federal Appeals Court in Manhattan just ruled that Trump must turn over 8 years of tax returns to the Manhattan DA, which is investigating Michael Cohen paying bribes to Stormy Daniels and others.  Trump, who lied for 2 years that he would release his tax returns after they were “audited” is fighting tooth and nail to keep them secret, and we can all guess as to why – they’ll likely add to the mountain of criminal evidence piling up on his doorstep.  I continue to believe, and Trumpists continue to deny, that Trump, once out of office (one way or the other) will spend the rest of his life trying to stay out of jail.  The closer we get to that, the more dangerous he will become until we get him out.

That wall has a name. A beautiful name. Attorney General Letitia “Tish” James who puts the REAL in general; a little bit feral, too. Gnaw on that, Donnie.

Meanwhile back in Dee Cee the Flynn/Kushner/Erdogan triangle is about to explode all over Donnie, Senate Republicons, Moe bin Bone Saw and the usual suspects. Time for Moscow Mitch to come out of his shell …

  3. Trump won’t rule out shutting down the federal government if Democrats refuse to end impeachment inquiry

I hereby declare a National Emergency and subsequent painful and not my fault, shutdown, over:

    * Attempted extortion of Ukrainian president ’cause of Joe Biden and son corruption

    * Refusal to give up my sacred tax returns for a witchunt criminal investigation

    * Manipulation of the stock market with perfectly coded, perfect comments

    * Various and heinous high crimes and monstrous misdemeanors with absolutely no obstruction

Edit: President Donald Trump, speaking to reporters from the South Lawn of the White House Sunday afternoon, refused to rule out shutting down the Federal government if Democrats don’t end the impeachment inquiry.

The president took time to erroneously frame the impeachment inquiry, falsely claiming it is over just his July 25 phone call during which he attempted to extort the president of Ukraine. Asked if he would “commit to no government shutdown,” President Trump refused.“It depends on the negotiation — I wouldn’t commit to anything,” Trump replied, after taking several swipes at Democrats.

“Democrats appear to be focusing on abuse of power, corruption, and cover ups as they move ahead with the impeachment inquiry.”

  4. At least we know what Dolt 45’s post-presidency is gonna look like: He’s going to spend more time in court rooms than playing golf, that’s for sure.

  5. I borrowed this comment for a little levity:

One of trump’s aides told him that he had a dream where the military had a parade for trump. There were millions of people there smiling and cheering. Trump said: “was I happy?”. The aide said, “I don’t know, the casket was closed”.

  7. I read something the other day that Combover Crime Lord had told Ivanka that he was $8 billion in debt and that there was a recording of that. I have no idea whether that’s true, but I’d put money on the proposition that his finances will show that he is at the bottom of a Marianas Trench of debt. Possibly more than anything else, he doesn’t want his base to know just how broke he is.

  8. Brad in Philly this week says:

Are you kidding me? Forty-eight hours before the inauguration of his successor he’s on Air Force One with $50 million in gold bars from Fort Knox, flying at taxpayer expense to Moscow to begin his new career as a commentator at RT News. He might, maybe, take Ivanka and her kids, along with a pardoned Roger Stone as court jester for his royal-court-in-exile.
