That’s the best. I want one. Where’d it come from? How about I’m for Obamacare because I’m an old lady and so are all my friends except for the young ones who really need to know they will have health insurance in the near and far down the road future. Even my old lady Tea Party friends want Medicare, they just don’t wanna share it. They’ll catch on, though.

Hey! I got an idea. Hold the presses! Listen up. You know that sign on the truck? I don’t know where TexEllen got her sign but those places in the Yellow Pages that say SIGNS, you know, THEY make really nifty magnetic signs which say anything you care to say and stick on your car or truck. We hope it is something that won’t get you beat up or nuthin’. Just sayin’. Or you could buy the sign material and some acrylic paints and make your own. I used to have magnetic signs on my car that I could update with acrylic paint ever so often. It’s about time to get some new ones…..

Doug said he got these made by Build a Sign, online. It is big, 12″ x 24″ and cost about $30. Their handicapped van is huge, seats 11 and so the sign is proportionate. It is magnetic. He is giving another one to our godson’s parents.

I’m praying for the day to come that my 42 year old son will once again have health insurance. He is asthmatic since childhood and lack of regular health care has made his asthma much more severe. Without regular visits to his allergy doctor, he has 4-6 ER visits every year. Last week he had a TIA resulting in overnite stay in hospital and numerous tests: CT scan, MRI, Chest Xray, lab work, heart and neck sonograms. Can you imagine what that cost the people of Texas??? He works a minimum wage job and every day applies for better paying jobs, but hopes of finding one are slipping away.

I betcha the cost of your son’s health care would about pay for a month or two for Mr. Goodhair’s rent. Disgusting isn’t it. I have a friend who has to pay cash for all her health care because of her asthma. I think I’ll cut and paste your message, Janet, without your name on it, to a coupla folks.

Janice, Has your son looked at the Pre-existing condition insurance available now (thanks to Obamacare)? It’s not exactly cheap, but it’s alot better than it was. http://www.healthcare.gov/law/features/choices/pre-existing-condition-insurance-plan/tx.html
Also, he’s probably eligible for diability, which would eventually (two years) make him eligible for Medicare. You can still work on disability, you are just limited in what you can make. Good luck!
