A Republican congresswoman accused the Obama administration of promulgating regulations that are undermining job creation at an auto manufacturer that has been defunct since 1988. She was responding to a question on Monday about Mitt Romney’s dishonest claims regarding Jeep moving its production overseas.
During an appearance on MSNBC, Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) dodged a question about Romney’s debunked Jeep claims and instead attacked the Obama administration for issuing regulations that are harming workers at American Motors Corporation, a company once headed by George Romney. AMC was sold to Chrysler during the Ronald Reagan administration and its brands were then discontinued.
Ya know, if President Obama can time travel, you think he’d have done something about that whole black plague thing. But, noooo… just to be mean, he tarnished George Romney.

I saw her dodging questions and then making sure her ‘Obama regulations and taxes’ lies were heard. Do these people really think the American populace is as clueless as they make us out to be. Facce it, GOP, the economy is improving. Regulations help. Clean air and water are necessary to live.

I was at my nail salon yesterday and listened to my manicurist rambling on about how the wealthy need tax cuts so they can make more jobs. She and another patron admitted they get all of their info from Fox. I gave up trying to enlighten them when the little old white haired teabagger patron said “Obama is stupid”. How’s that for irony….a Fox viewer calling ANYONE stupid.

I lived under Marsha the Lightbulb Moran for 10 years – pretty disgusting. We are now re-districted to Jim Cooper, Blue Dog, thankfully. Marsha has ZERO signs out in her gerrymandered district which includes the wealthiest county in TN, triangulates north around Nashville, west to Memphis and up to Clarksville, which is the SAME town as Ft. Campbell, Kentucky (101st Airborne, Air Assault) and she has NOT been to Ft. Campbell in 4 years. She is also Deputy Whip of the US House and is their nasty little troll who never answers a question. Her big thing is complaining about the lightbulbs which were done under Dubya. I do not believe she has a challenger. It is most pathetic and there are TONS of Obama/Biden signs all over the Clarksville – the military is not going for the RePigs – they know they are trying to cut their benefits and they are the “most deployed” post in the military. We could do without Marsha the Moran and be a happier place.

Off topic, but JJ said she wanted to know, so my bubba and I mailed in our ballots yesterday. Washington State votes by mail, for those of you who don’t know, so another two votes for President Obama. Damn, I wish I knew all the tactics the Republicans seem to know for voting EARLY and OFTEN, but we only had those two ballots to work with. We did the best we could.
