And Rick Perry is the Sheriff
Just when you think you’ve had plenty of Rick Perry yeehaw, he opens his mouth and words tumble out ll willy-nilly.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) ratcheted up the condemnation on Tuesday. Implementation of the 2010 health care law, Perry said, actually amounts to a “criminal act.”
A criminal act, huh? Geeezzz … maybe you should tell the Supreme Court that.
I swear he’s as cocky bold as a blind burglar.
So, if it’s a criminal act, what’s the punishment for signing up – health care?
I think Rick needs to go back to apologizing for his wife.
He’s set up rules that make it harder than measuring water with a tea strainer just to sign up for the ACA, and just in case we accidentally meet all his rules, he’s gonna make John Dillinger out of us all?
Hush, Rick. You’re an idiot.
Did his Constitutional expert tell him that? or his lawyer?
1Rick Perry – now holds new title as Word Salad Specialist. And it ain’t even a nutritious salad at that!
2I wish ONE TV interviewer had the guts to give an impromptu verbal quiz on the Constitution, to those that are constantly bleating about it.
Example:
“Quickly, Congressman, can you give your interpretation of the 8th amendment?” The interviewee will sit there with his mouth open, and have no idea about what the 8th amendment is about. Or even better, ask him what the 28th amendment was (there isn’t one).
3Thank goodness for the internet, and telephones.
I don’t think Rick can regulate everything.
People should be able to go to any Health and Human Service Office and apply for Affordable Health Care.
It isn’t rocket science…… to anybody but Perry.
4Can’t wait til millions of people are insured and shouting it from the rooftops: Obamacare is Great!
5Why is it considered legal for rethuglicans to prevent women from exercising their Constitutional right to choose child birth or not? Forcing women to give birth against their will sounds like a war crime to me.
6Because Gov Goodhair, besides being ignorant, is also batshit crazy? ;-}
7He’s just repeating what Little Ricky Abbott told him.
8The thing they hope we forget is that the ACA IS the compromise. The majority of Americans actually wanted a single payer system (like Medicare or the VA) but told that the Republicans obstructionists blocked any hope of that. The ACA was the “best we could get” for so called health care reform. It doesn’t address out of control costs and instead of kicking the insurance companies off the trough and freeing up those insurance company profits for actual health care they give them a handi and make us buy insurance. We get a little better coverage and it costs us less. Color me not thrilled. BUT what do the Republicans offer us…. basically it looks to me like the T-Pers are saying we got our Medicare (socialized medicine and we love it) and you can’t have any and the Libertarians are straight up saying “if you cannot afford health care and you have no health insurance you should just go die.” So I’ll take the lousy compromise and like it, than you very much. But every time someone complains about the ACA they need to be reminded that THIS is the COMPROMISE and pretty much everything they don’t like about it is because the Republicans obstructed what the majority of us wanted and we got a Heritage Foundation conservative business friendly wet dream. Now a radical faction of the Republican Party has taken our government hostage to deny us even that and to IMPOSE their will and ideology on us when they could not win by ANY legitimate means. This is not a moral stand on principal it is extortion and grandstanding and it is profoundly anti-democracy.
9IS there really not a single Lawyer or Decent Law enforcement person who can find some reason to arrest this man? He needs to be locked up for the protection of the Citizens of these United States. His little travel bug alone has got to be costing the state at least 5 or 6 of those roads they are graveling cause they can’t afford to maintain them.
