Franklin Graham, the evangelist and son of Billy Graham, has apologized for questioning President Obama’s Christian faith, insisting that religion has “nothing to do” with his decision not to support the president’s election, according to a report.

“I regret any comments I have ever made which may have cast any doubt on the personal faith of our president, Mr. Obama,” Graham said in a statement on Tuesday, according to the Religious News Service.

According to the story, it was the open letter from faith leaders at the NAACP that did it, which I am pretty certain chapped Graham’s lily white patootie.
