An Open Letter to Chris Chistie
Hey Chris,
How’s it going?
Well, that was probably the wrong way to start. You ain’t having a star spangled day, right?
I just read this at CNN.
E-mails emerged on Wednesday purportedly from top aides to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie bolstering suggestions that George Washington Bridge lane closures last year that tied up traffic stemmed from a political vendetta and not bureaucratic incompetence as his administration claimed.
I know you want to be president one day and people generally don’t mind political vendettas. In fact, most folks kinda enjoy them.
Except, of damn course, when it means they have to pay for it by sitting in damn traffic which you damn caused. That’s when they say, “Well, Damn Chris Christie. He ain’t sitting his bohunkus in this traffic.”
And, you know about that whole The Buck Stops Here thing? Dude, you missed the bus. You’re so out there that you won’t get the Today Show until tomorrow.
Christie said in a statement that “what I’ve seen today is unacceptable,” adding that he was “misled by a member of his staff” and knew nothing about what had transpired.
Now how long did that take you?
Sweetie, I could have told you two months ago before all this started that you cannot trust Republicans. Most of them lie so much that they have to hire someone to call the dogs. Hell, they’ll lie when the truth makes a better story. Sometimes they lie just to stay in practice.
A source close to Christie said “there will probably be some sacrificial firing and that’ll be it.”
Come clean or go home, Darlin’. People won’t mind if you mess around on your wife, if you start a war just for the helluva it, or scream You Lie at the State of the Union Address. You’ll still be reelected. But, traffic. Well, that’s a whole ‘nother ball of wax.
And, by the way, when are public officials going to learn that emails from the office belong to the public? Seriously, didn’t you learn anything from Jack Abramoff?
Love and Fried Okra,
Juanita Jean Herownself
Juanita Jean…these people don’t realize the power of the internets! They cannot comprehend that once you type something in an email…its pretty much there forever. Didn’t any of those darned officials that are so smart till they’re stupid, understand that things done in the dark will invariably come to light? Didnt they realize that the public was going to learn everything in those emails? I’m afraid this is just the tip of the iceberg. Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving person, in my opinion!
1Oh, how I wish Chris Christie would read Juanita Jean’s blog … he’d not only get an eyeful, he’d get an earful, too! LOL
2Christi: “That’s a nice little bridge you have there. It’d be a shame if something bad were to happen to it.”
3I was just listening to “All Things Considered” and learned that Gov. Big Butt is already throwing his staff under the bus. However, those clips of him bullying various people, including a teacher, are still around and circling the intertubes once again. HAH!
4GOP 2016
Christie, hyper-inflated ego about to bust his seams and chances
Cruz, ain’t got no documents
Rand Paul, plagiarist and credential challenged optometrist
Marco Rubio, other than consume copious amounts of water, what has he done?
Paul Ryan, we’ll get back to you, when that budget mess is fixed
Could go on and list all the possibles to fill the clown car, but as they are all losers, 2016 is going to hit the GOP like a tsunami.
5IF Christie really didn’t know until now, he would have fired the person or persons responsible, then apologized for the mess. Instead, he….
6He’s shrewd in a thuggish kind of way, but he’s really not too bright.
7FORT LEE – Emergency responders were delayed in attending to four medical situations – including one in which a 91-year-old woman lay unconscious – due to traffic gridlock caused by unannounced closures of access lanes to the George Washington Bridge, according to the head of the borough’s EMS department. The woman later died, borough records show.
In at least two of those instances, response time doubled, noted EMS coordinator Paul Favia, who documented those cases in a Sept. 10 letter to Mayor Mark Sokolich, which The Record obtained.
Republicans. In the immortal words of Norm Peterson, “You can’t live with ’em…. Pass me the beer nuts.”
8Folks in Texas really don’t truly understand traffic jams. They are great for having a screaming argument or taking a nap. They are part of a way of life essential to carrying on Traditions in the northeast. You can’t get a good view of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge or the Statue of Liberty, for example, if you’re not sitting still in traffic with the other cars around you playing loud music. Moving traffic just takes away the ambience, such as looking at The Air on bad air days when The Air is sort of greenish yellow and the radio is saying STAY HOME AND CLOSE YOUR WINDOWS AND WHATEVER YOU DO, DON’T BREATHE. It adds to your puzzle-solving skills when three cars have had a wreck and the cop can’t get to them. It’s why New York has such great radio. It’s good for your character.
9Felt bad about the kids, though. Nah,they belong to Buono voters,no worries. Too bad they weren’t fetii, because they would have had a right to life police escort to attend Christie’s breakfast luncheon-as the main course. Rethugs eat their own.
10It happens that the roadbed of the GW Bridge is comprised of (among others) US Rtes 1&9 and I-95. I’m pretty sure that deliberately messing with the road is a felony under a bunch of different agencies purview. If the U.S. Atty has a hard-on for Mr. Christy Crème he might find himself in deep shit.
11Here’s the thing that really gets me.
12He’s not worried about a sufferin’ traffic jam. It wouldn’t affect him.
He’d just spend MORE taxpayer money, and fly over any traffic in his helicopter!
If he really just now found out the truth, he’s not fit to govern. If he knew all along, he’s a criminal.
13*SMH* Republicans.
Its okay if THEY spend our taxpayer money, as long as it’s not to the benefit of a minority.
Meanwhile, people are homeless and hungry.
14@tbyg: or as WS Burroughs said
“A paranoid is someone who knows a little of what’s going on.
A psychotic is a guy who’s just found out what’s going on.”
– William S Burroughs
So I too wonder if Christie is paranoid/unfit to govern or psychotic/criminal? Those do seem to be the only choices.
15Christie had to know and had to approve it.
16He is responsible for the loss of life, time and money people experienced during this callous act of revenge. He and his henchmen and women should be tried and sent to jail for the hell they put people through.
From what I can tell, the only news in this is that the emails have surfaced which I take as evidence that CC has found someone to throw under the bus. I first heard about this around a month ago when it was reported that the vengeful act was done at CC’s behest to get back at the mayor of Fort Lee for not supporting his royal governorship’s royally sized tuchus.
17Time to sing little Cristie bye bye:

So many songs, Chris. But not one of them will be yours in 2016. You’ll be lucky that NJ doesn’t show you the jailhouse door with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z3qOzsVviI

New bumper sticker: Chris Christie, toast or just another over stuffed GOP imploding buffoon.
Ignore climate change at your own peril, but for Gomertz sake pay attention to physics as you over inflate your gas bag self.
20For several months, I’ve been hearing that even though CC is a bully and has an abrasive personality, “he’s really, really smart.” Please, someone, tell me again how smart he is. So typically republican.
21One of the more interesting issues in play at this point is whether Christie will be targeted more vehemently by the Dems or by other Repubs with presidential ambitions.
22I don’t know, I pretty much hate the big bully, and that whole ” I was misled” thing is just stupid, of course you were misled, you are a batterer, People tell you only what they think you want to hear – However – and I know I lend to Conspiracy theories – but this e-mail coming up 2 months later worded so perfectly that it could not be misinterpreted is just a little to Convenient for me. the convo I keep hearing in my head is something like:
Daddy Bush: Hey Jeb, so you gonna run?
Jeb: Oh Prolly
Daddy B: Who you got to beat in the Primary?
Jeb: Oh Prolly that Fat ass Christie
Daddy B: Well Son,doesn’t he have that bridge thing going on?
Jeb: well it’s all just hearsay, no smokin gun.
Daddy B: Don’t worry boy, we got it covered….
I just always get suspicious when E-mails suddenly appear – in this NSA/Annonymous world we live in, hacking into a State Computer system is not the most complicated thing in the world I suspect, and out of everyone, Jeb does stand to gain the most from this….I’m smellin a stinking Bush up in here.
23Christie is having a press conference today. This should be fun to watch
24There goes any idea he ever had for a presidential run!
Thank God!
25Deleting incriminating emails is a time honored tradition in many states, including MO (that’s Missouri as opposed to Modus Operandi for y’all from other states).
Several high-profile records requests and lawsuits have been filed in recent years to challenge the frequency with which officials are allowed to delete job-related e-mail. Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt settled a lawsuit a few years ago that arose from a whistleblower’s outing of Blunt’s plan to regularly delete office e-mail messages he wanted to keep away from news outlets and constituents — an open records violation. How bad were these, well they are reason Blunt didn’t run for office when his term was up. http://crooksandliars.com/2008/01/10/missouri-gov-matt-blunt-has-an-email-problem
The laws do not apply to them, they are forgiven…..
26While the Ft Lee mayor is a Dem, the majority in the city voted for Christie. So he was screwing his own voters.
I am having a t shirt made:
On the front: Don’t Blame Me, I Voted for Buono
On the back: Told You so–You Didn’t Listen
