Alex Jones Update

April 19, 2022 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Just in case you’re new here, as luck would have it I am close personal friends with one of the attorneys in the Texas lawsuit against Alex Jones for defaming parents at Sandy Hook.  If you want to catch up with what I have written in the past, I ran a goggle for you.

After years of Jones doing everything possible to keep this case from going to trial, including hiring and firing lawyers almost monthly to get continuances, the judges in the Texas and the Connecticut lawsuits both found Jones guilty.

The part of the case that is to determine monetary damages is set to start in Austin, Texas, this coming Monday morning. So, as a last ditch effort after Jones’ last lawyer got caught tampering with evidence, Jones up and files bankruptcy.

You can read about it here.

And there’s lots of conjecture about it on Twitter from reputable sources.

Please notice that Jones did not declare personal bankruptcy, just bankruptcy on three of his businesses.  He absolutely does not want people poking around in his personal wealth.  However, he is being personally sued.

It’s set to be heard this Friday and I am told we might be able to watch online. I promise to let you know as soon as I find out. It is clearly a ploy but he’s hired big gun lawyers for the first time.

Meanwhile

In a court filing released Friday, Judge Maya Guerra Gamble ordered that Jones and his company Free Speech Systems, LLC, pay a total of $1,078,653 to several people suing Jones for lies he spread about them on his conspiracy platform Infowars. He has 30 days to pay the more than $1 million sum to the different parties, according to the filing.

So, there’s a kickstart to rustling up a real bankruptcy for Jones.

I will keep you updated if I can.

Ms. JJ, please extend our heartfelt thank you and congratulations to Mr. Mark Bankston, Esq. Whatevuh and howevuh many shady tricks Jones’ attorneys may deploy on behalf of their morally bankrupt client, it would only be fair if Alex’s financial bankruptcy matched his moral bankruptcy.

Alex Jones final $ net worth should be equal to his moral worth: 0.

The most high powered attorney in the country can’t do anything for Alex Jones at this point. It’s way too late. He has sealed his own fate. These transparent financial machinations to escape liability can be easily seen through and defeated. I hope he ends up a pauper.

  3. Is filing bankruptcy a sure thing or can the court say no? Especially as it’s obvious what he’s trying to pull.

  4. @AK Lynne,

Generally, the bankruptcy courts let businesses go through with their bankruptcies all the time, with no real push back from the courts. Personal bankruptcy is much more fraught with peril for the individual.

  5. Alex Jones has a mega sale in progress at his website, 75% off! On his radio show he directed listeners to get on over there because “it’s do or die time!”

Glad he offers a choice. But it’s probably unlikely his listeners could choose wisely even if they had one thing to pick from.

I’m pretty sure his new top gun lawyers are advising him on moving his “wealth” so that judgements against him personally can’t touch it. At that point he’ll have to file personal bankruptcy. Who’s paying his new lawyers? Good thing for him he’s an expert grifter with lots of followers. But his day is coming.

  7. Couldn’t it be denied based on the obvious fraudulent attempt to wiggle out of paying the judgment against him?

  8. Steve from Beaverton says:

If something can be done about the moves Alex Jones pulls to avoid the monetary consequences of the lawsuits he’s already lost (and the fines for failure to appear), I’m pretty sure one Mark Bankston is already on top of it. Jones is already groveling.

  9. I heard your baby boy on NPR this morning on my way to my Strong Women class. I almost drove off the road!!!! He was a lowly L1 when I first met him. You must be so damn proud!

  10. Sandridge says:

I’ll guarandamntee that this Alex Jones vermin has already stashed most of his fairly large personal wealth in untouchable offshore accounts. Unless in the very earliest stages of his legal siege somebody got a judge to freeze his assets, even then he’d try to worm out.

Couldn’t happen to a more deserving POS.

  12. Elizabeth2 says:

Like you, JJ, I wish he would declare personal bankruptcy so we could get a peek at his own finances. The happy thought is that there is such a thing as an involuntary bankruptcy. If you’re not paying your bills, your creditors can get together, petition the court to put you in bankruptcy, and divide up whatever you have among the creditors. It’s not very often used on individuals, but I can’t think of a more worthy case than this one.

  13. Jonathon P Hubbert says:

Bubber can refute or confirm … but the Bankruptcy Referee (Judge) can refuse the petition.

Hiding private parts is not confined to anatomy, some do it with their ill-gotten gains.

I can see where a real moron could go bust running a casino, but a podcast?
