A Man of Few Words

March 08, 2013 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Customer Marge sent an email to Texas Senator Ted Cruz.

She was proud to receive an answer.

Until she read it.

Then she forwarded it to me.  I have have removed her email address but that’s all.

.

On the upside, this is the first time Ted Cruz didn’t say something stoopid.  It looks like a good plan to me.

Thanks to Marge for sharing.

I think it shows incredible gall and his willingness to ignore his constituents.

I am guessing that Marge sent a more subtantial letter than Ted Craz reply!

I’ll bet it took him half an hour to compose that letter and it nearly strained his brain to do so.

I just wrote Cruz another letter. This is a test.

  5. Marge Wood says:

Ah. Brain strain. Why didn’t I think of that. Nope, he’s really pretty smart; he’s just not nice. My husband says that my rule about life is EVERYONE SHOULD BE NICE. Yeah.

  6. I sent Crudz an e-mail in response to an e-mail received from him bragging about all he has been doing. I let him know what I thought about what he has been doing and haven’t received a reply. I’m blessed!

Y’all should know that Cruz never sees your emails or letters or listens to your phone calls. He has staff that is authorized to do this and answer all messages. ‘Course, they act according to how he wants them to. You can bet the rent that he only hires putzes.

  8. @ June … count your blessings, girl! LOL My first good chuckle on this Friday morning!!

  9. Marge Wood says:

Now that’s an idea: WRITE TO CRUZ AND TELL HIM WHAT YOU THINK OF WHAT HE’S BEEN DOING. The list is pretty long, though….

  10. I guess this is the internet version of “Better to stay silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt”.

  11. My favorite story about the staff answering letters that the politician never sees is this.

A couple I know have a framed letter on their wall. It says something like this: You are such wonderful people for adopting a child, and I know you are the bedrock of America and will raise your child with wonderful values. Laura joins me in good wishes for your family. Signed, George W. Bush.

What cracks me up is that the letter is clearly addressed to a couple who both have women’s names.

Somebody in the office had to have seen those names. But you can bet your patoot that Baby Bush never did.

That’s what I’d expect from Carnival Cruz. Adrift, craptastic, and rude.

  13. Like all his ilk, Cruz will shoot himself down.

TexasEllen. I am going to embroidery that on a pillow.

  15. It is more response than I got from Coryn’s office when I sent an email telling him that he was an embarrassment to me as a sixth generation Texan.

  16. “Carnival” Cruz. I sense a meme. Nick Anderson is a little out in front, though.

Well, frankly, I am seriously jealous that Marge got a reply for her emails. I have sent several to our esteemed Junior Senator, and have yet to receive a peep from “his a-hole”. Wonder if the Republican militia will be at my door in the morning….. stranger things have happened. Of course, I am probably not nearly as polite as Miss Marge. The only response I ever get from Cornyn is a form letter with a “do not reply” return email address…. and I, too, pulled the Republic of Texas native card, Jane. That Howdy Doody fringed jacket costume in the picture on his website makes me wanna hurl…..

A whole lot of years ago I had this incredible boss. I sold commercial real estate in Denver. He used to say to us, “You have to be a lamb among wolves…. forgive them, they are assholes.” (sorry momma) “They are clueless. They truly don’t understand that you reap what you sow.”

What happened to Texas? I went away at 20… came back at 60… and it has been like a horror flick. OMG.
