They screwed over Democrats more ways than fiddlers can get to hell. It wasn’t a redistricting – it was a massacre.
Good news today is that Texas Democrats won the first round.
State Sen. Wendy Davis and state Rep. Marc Veasey, both Fort Worth Democrats, won a legal round Tuesday in their opposition to the Legislature’s Texas Senate redistricting plans.
The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia granted the motion to intervene in the federal pre-clearance review of the plans.
Texas Attorney General and Hypocrite In Chief, Greg Abbott, tried to bypass pre-clearance with the Justice Department. That ain’t happenin’ now.
