How He Does It…
Trump’s doing it again, but this time on steroids, so let’s talk about what “it” is. The way to cope with his all-chaos-all-the-time strategy, we need to understand what he’s doing so we can understand it and then counter it. Over the last couple of days, Trump has provided two textbook cases:
1) The blowup with Colombia over deportation flights. First, the facts: The Biden administration had a deal with Colombia to fly deported migrants in commercial planes and was actively doing that. In fact, the US landed 174 such flights in 2024 and have made 475 of such flights in the last 5 years. Trump upended that program, and started flying deported immigrants on military flights. Worse, they were shackling them in chains and treating them like violent criminals. Even worse, the planes were showing up with no-notice, de-Santis style. So, US military planes were flying into foreign countries without any prior communication causing alarm. The Colombian president justifiably said no, and the ensuing flame war on social media exploded, which has been widely reported. After much behind the scenes negotiating resolved the issue the flights resumed. In the meantime, Trump beat his chest and declared victory in an international incident that he alone caused. His sycophants fall in line chanting his name and celebrating said fake victory.
2) California water. Another example, this time in California over a water crisis that doesn’t exist. For years Trump has been screaming about California’s water plan that was attempting to save an endangered species of fish in northern California. When the fires in LA started, he immediately returned to the fish he’s obsessed with rather than trying to help. LA most certainly had a water problem, but not because of shortage of supply but because the pumps that move the water were not functioning because of damage to the electrical grid. Of course, the facts were inconvenient to Trump, so he continue harping on the fish and demanded that California “open the taps!” which, of course, is horseshit. Not satisfied that he’s gotten enough personal attention, last night he lied, posting this on Truth Social:
So, Trump posts that he moved the US military into California (he didn’t) and “turned on the water,” magically solving California’s water problem. What actually happened was that the federal government completed a 3 day maintenance repair to a federal pumping station and put it back into service. No troops, no military invasion. Trump wiggles his tiny tallywacker at Gavin “Newscum” and declares victory in another fake crisis.
This is what we’re in for as long as FOTUS (Felon of the United States) sits in the WH plugging toilets. He creates a crisis from a false narrative, creating an alternative reality, then thumps his chest to declare victory for fixing a problem he created. Such is the new reality (again).
“FOTUS (Felon of the United States),” I’d use a different word that starts with “F.”
1Here we are again with Trump thinking that if he yells loud enough, he’ll make BS real. He did this over and over in his first four years, and he’s never stopped. And the sheeple brayed, “yeah, that’s the truth!”
2Trump’s like the owner of a glass company who goes around breaking windows at night, and fixing them by day.
3And the msm continue to report on trumpf lies and incoherent jibberish like it’s ok, thus amplifying the intended effect. The media has become scared to report news accurately out of fear. Trumpf’s maladministration is his corrupt police department going after anyone who calls BS on him.
4And of course NONE of the GOP will ever think of invoking the 25th amendment even though he has clearly leave of what senses he had.
5RE:4 Yes, it’s not just the mass media though. The D’s need to start acting like a real opposition party, constantly posting rebuttals and truths on social media using video, interviews, statements etc. to get the reality of what is happening out to the people. Don’t rely on the mass media or press releases to do such a thing now. Plus, a great number of younger people consume no mass media or even own a TV to view the news.

7drumpf has illegally impounded federal funds set aside for Medicaid and shut down portals in all 50 states. Law clearly states the potus is not legally allowed to impound federal funds earmarked for federal programs.
Some head start rograms are affected too, along with other programs. This was all spelled out in project 2025 and faithfully implemented by sociopathic liar who claimed he had no idea what was in 2025.

12I could find no corrections in the Oregonian today which has become their norm. They did allow some yahoo named Cal (he’s in there frequently) editorialize that trumpf did more good than bad in his first week.
Lying Leavitt claimed there was no EO to shut down funds, it was a computer glitch that caused portals to shut down even after a federal judge stopped the larceny in it’s tracks.
Another drumpf release was shot and killed by cops. Leavitt said any problem that occurs now is drumpf’s to solve. The buck stops with lying drumpf, except fpor the rapidly riding cost of eggs. Biden did it when he ordewred a hundred million l.aying hens slaughtered because of b ird flu.
And if you run across the latest lie that we sent 50 million bucks worth of condoms to Gaza, we didn’t send them any.
13So the press secretary today tries to clarify that the orange moron pervert felon’s new memo rescinding his freeze on federal funding of almost everything wasn’t really an end to the freeze. I think someone should also ask her to clarify trumpf’s pre inauguration announcement that he would be dictator on day one really meant he plans to be dictator for 4 years and in his mind, 8 years. Certainly sounds like he thinks he is, period.
14dumbass dubya’s first press suckretary, Ari Fleischer, admitted from day one he would be deliberately releasing false info to the press. At least he was honest for one moment in time. drumpf’s press crew don’t even pretend to speak the truth ever.

16Hey Steve (#12)! Tha “Cal” is Cal Thomas. He been blathering garbage for decades, usually with a “christian” bent. He says some agreeable things – veeery rare. Generally it’s just more apologetics from the right. Surprised you haven’t heard of him before. The Houston Chronicle carries him as their “Gotta hear the other side” shtick. Generally, the Chronicle lambasts Trump, Abbott and all the other cretins on the right.
