I read yesterday that tfg’s pick for IRS wants to get rid of the IRS and instead institute a 23% national sales tax. So that 23% plus tfg’s 25% tariff means purchases by regular for will shoot up 48%!
1Fran, all I can say is thanks. Well maybe a couple other things. Thought it would be impossible to hate trumpf more, but these toons managed to do that.
2Wonder if cash patel has any trolls secretly monitoring us at the WMDBS? We might need a preemptive pardon as well. Oh, and I noticed that muskrat and ramaswampi (sp?) are proposing to eliminate the FBI. Guess they’d have to come up with a spot for patel- maybe trumpf’s secret police or something.
I actually woke up before dawn and realized I hadn’t scheduled the Toons before I went to bed. I’ll blame a nice steak dinner (thanks to the manager bin) and my share of a bottle of excellent local cab. I’ll admit, I was going to cut back on my wine consumption but then, election day happened. Anyway, I got up as soon as I heard the coffee maker start up automatically at 6:15. I need not have worried, I had plenty of toons the past week to choose from. And quite a few that I deep sixed because they were just so nasty (to Biden). Skipping BBC and Newshour tonight, partly because I end up cursing during both these days, and mostly because it’s opening night of A Christmas Story at our little local playhouse. Leg lamp and all. HO HO HO!
