One thing you have to say about The Former Guy is that he’s old, but not too old to learn from his past mistakes. Mistakes like throwing his personal lawyer under the bus while he was just doing the bidding of his client.
When Michael Cohen’s antics while acting at the behest of Don the Con to get elected President finally caught up with him in 2018, The Don was nowhere to be found. In fact, he was too busy throwing his lawyer under a bus to notice that his former toady lawyer was extremely put off by his indifference.
“I never directed Michael Cohen to break the law,” [TFG] said in a tweet. “He was a lawyer and he is supposed to know the law. It is called “advice of counsel,” and a lawyer has great liability if a mistake is made. That is why they get paid.”
Indeed. That is why they get paid.
Unfortunately for Bronzer Boy, he discovered too late that there is getting paid, and then there is getting paid. And TFG got paid back in spades for abandoning his lawyer to a stay in Otisville Federal Prison.
After serving his sentence, Cohen sang like a canary to anyone who would listen to him, and there were lots of listeners. That ultimately got TFG tried and convicted of 34 felonies as well as having embarrassing open court testimony about his encounter with a pornographic actor while his wife was home nursing his newborn baby boy.
This will help us all understand why TFG is paying $103,840 out of his “Save America PAC” to Tully Bailey LLC, the law firm defending his other former personal lawyer, Boris Epshteyn. 
Epshteyn, also known as CC6 in Jack Smith’s new filing, has pleaded not guilty to nine felony charges in Arizona for the “fake Electors scheme.” But this time TFG is standing steadfastly with his personal lawyer with his PAC’s checkbook in hand. Because this time bus-throwing-under is not an option.
Epshteyn, like Cohen, knows where the bodies are buried.
What competent and resonably honest lawyer would ever take him as a client.

3Not that I have a huge amount of respect (make that 0) for attorneys that defended TFFG knowing full well he was a crook and fraud, but I’d love for all of them that he screwed to throw his fat orange ass under the bus like Mr Cohen. Then maybe they’d earn some respect.

The NHC has upgraded TS Milton to a hurricane.
Some Hurricane Milton modeling shows Milton undergoing Rapid Intensivication to an extremely dangerous Category 5 before landfall, probably around the Tampa area.
Milton is going to move across the Gulf of Mexico more rapidly than most cyclones travel, so will arrive quickly on the Florida west coast.
Milton will also cut across Florida and enter the Atlantic as a hurricane, whereupon the middle and upper Atlantic coastal areas may become endangered.

As usual, the NHC started off with very cautious, conservative forecasts that maxed Milton to a Category 3.
Now they’ve finally come around to the actuality of what the super-heated Gulf of Mexico is capable of doing with a hurricane.
But ‘Climate change is (still) a Hoax’, according to most Rethuglikkkans..
10Hurricane Milton’s sustained winds are now at 155mph. Since a Category 5 begins at 157mph, it’ll be there in a few minutes.
Remember, Milton was just a newly formed Tropical Storm barely 24 hours ago. Have to check, but this may be the most rapid intensification recorded yet.

11Well, the NHC just issued a Hurricane Milton Update a couple of minutes ago, Milton’s officially a Category 5, sustained winds are now at 160mph, with gusts probably near 200mph.
That current Barometric Pressure of 925mb, 27.31inches, is very scary; it will soon be in the 26inch range, which is nearly unheard of.

Data from an Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft indicate
that Milton has strengthened to a category 5 hurricane. The
maximum sustained winds are estimated to be 160 mph (250 km/h) with
higher gusts. Data from the aircraft also indicate that the
minimum pressure has fallen to 925 mb (27.31 inches).
