Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
The fourth one down nails Mr. Mango Manboobs!
Eeeeeeww
The little GQPer with the modesty sign could have used a much smaller one, no prob…
And don’t ya just luv it when almost every cartoonist draws him with those tiny tiny hands? Which goes way back to Donnei bragging about the size of parts of his anatomy.
All good, but we can wish for the last one.
1They’re all so good that it’s hard to choose a favorite. I think, though, that the US Automakers’ dashboard and Trump’s scribbles on the Constitution come in at a tie, for me.
2Great toons as always, Ms. JJ, thank you!
Now **if only** the zombie wing of the GOP would wake up to realize their ‘news’ sources lie. Cartoonists and late-night comedians provide the best information. We watch a few monologues throughout the week, then visit the Friday Toons to summarize the week. Our dentist has been pleased since we pulled the plug on cable TV – less gnashing of the teeth.
3Always look forward to the Friday toons. Thank you. Thought there might be a Boobart one, too.
4As for the naybob who ordered his gold plate menu crumbs to be left at the door for the rabble to eat, around here they would have to compete with bears who wander out of the wilderness and even swim down the river to dine out. Really very good cartoon. Reminds me of what I learned about the preface to the French Revolution. This is just like the thinking – if you can call it that – of the aristocracy when regarding the struggling population in that country. And here it is popping up here in the US of A. Tells ya lot, doesn’t it.
5Anyone in Texas (or elsewhere) surprised by this:
