My Friend Pam
My friend Pam is a perfect lady, an AKA with pearls, a graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in English, and attends the Methodist Church. She is about the same age that I am. Having been friends with her for 30 years, I have rarely heard her curse and even then it’s mild.
She defended Beto’s speech by telling me, “That was not cussin’. That was punctuation. That was an exclamation point.”
She’s right, you know.
Tonight, in Mineral Wells, Texas
When a @GregAbbott_TX supporter laughs, yes, laughs out loud so everyone could hear, while Beto described the massacre of 19 children and 2 teachers in Uvalde, Beto quite appropriately lets loose with a MF.
Yep.
It was a pretty good one too. pic.twitter.com/t5LLMIPXeP— BetoMedia (@BetoMedia) August 11, 2022
I so agree with your friend!
1Pam’s right, of course. That’s about the only time somebody dropped the MF bomb that didn’t make me flinch.
2It’s hard to argue with your friend Pam’s impeccable credentials.
3I wish we had real people in power here in IN Beto, if you don’t win, god forbid, please relocate to IN. Our leaders have no balls at all…..
4Texans of a certain age will remember Rick Perry, on tape, once greeting his “mo-fo” friends, no doubt something the
5tender-eared Abbott folks would prefer we not remember.
“. . .that was punctuation.
Absolutely! Well deserved, too.
6Pam Rocks and so does Beto!
7I wish George Carlin had lived to see that his “Seven Words You Can’t Say on TV” are now completely mainstream.
8Is there such a thing as an AKA without pearls?
9If there is, she’s just been robbed!
