Judge Orders Trump and Kids to Testify
The TFG and his spawn lost big time today when a New York Supreme Court judge ruled against their effort to quash subpoenas by NY AG Letitia James to give testimony in her civil fraud investigation where they are suspected of overstating values of their assets for banking purposes and understating them for tax purposes. The case came to a head earlier this week when long-time TFG accountants Mazars resigned and said their financial statement audits for the last 10 years were not reliable and couldn’t be depended on. TFG will appeal, of course. If he ever gets in front of James, expect him to take the 5th, because otherwise he’ll lie because he can’t help himself.
The slow plod towards justice continues, as slow as it is.
Slow yes.
But I hold out hope it has the effect of the constant drip drip drip of water torture, or the methodical grinding by the dentist in Marathon Man.
Every morning Trump must wake up thinking, “what’s next?”
A life behind bars would give him less to worry about, and if it’s at a Club Fed with a small 3 hole golf course he’d probably be happier than he is these days.

4While Trump may have a history of judging people by their looks, I don’t know that it is true in the case. At this point, Trump’s primary qualification for an attorney is someone who doesn’t hang up on him.
JDS2017 @ 3: you can bet that T**** did not choose Habba on the basis of a keen legal mind. Trying to sidetrack the proceedings with the equivalent of “but her emails” did not exactly sway the judge. Nor did the argument that T**** was a member of a persecuted class. The judge pointed out that protected classes were based on religon, race, or sex. Habba’s claim that he deserved protection because of his Republican beliefs was amazing. But the oppression of that wealthy white male Republican just did not bring tears to the judge’s eyes. Unless they were tears of laughter.
I’ll point out also that the judge explicitly referred to Dumbo Jr’s assertion of the 5-th for around 500 times in an early deposition as a sign that T**** and his gawd-awful spawn knew how to avoid saying anything in a criminal case.
5I forgot to post my current “wouldn’t it be great” question. They (NY state, the feds, whoever) are going to offer a deal to that Narcissistic
Bowl of Rotten Bile, or one of his get, to roll over on the others for a plea deal. It won’t happen before 2024, but the evidence is accumulating. And if no second terms for the Bloated One is won in 2024, the walls will start closing in rapidly.
So which of them will squeal first? I’m sure the NBRB would immediately throw the kiddies under the bus if it saved him time in the slammer. Hell, he’d do it if it saved him $50. But no prosecutor is likely to take his testimony for any price. I can see everyone else pointing at Eric in an attempt to save themselves, and maybe even him believing the rest of the family when they say “just confess to the crimes, we’ll make sure you never have to be in a cell”. But then it comes down to who will break first and it’s between Dumbo Jr, Princess Sourmilk, and Crown Prince Jughead.
So what are the betting odds on this? Jane&PKM are Nevada residents, so do you know if the Las Vegas bookies have numbers on it yet?
