6Well, I truly expect we will see more trees burn. There will be copycats. I can only wonder if the tree burning was a black eye meant for Faux rather than against Christmas.

11Tis the season! That tree was so ugly it looks as if it had been decorated by Messy Drumpf. While arson is not to be encouraged, we’d salute anyone who buried that tree for offending the artistic integrity of those poor rats who are forced to share the surrounding sewers with Fox Not the News ‘hosts.’ Have those rats not suffered enough?

Regarding that nativity scene
The 2021 version: Melania as Mary, scowling and b!tching that she has no makeup mirror, she has to sleep with goats and has to nurse the baby herself. I can think of a host of others who are already the “unwise men”. And the ultimate heresy, TFG as baby Jesus. I’m not of Christian faith, but that makes me shudder.

20Am I the only one cynical enough to believe that Faux News set this up themselves to gin up the “War on Christmas”? Pretty easy to find a homeless person to do the deed for money or just to blame.
After seeing stories about tree fires in other cities it’s entirely plausible that those jerks decided to do a copycat, throw the blame elsewhere, and chortle their way to a ratings bump.
I’m skeptical of everything coming out of the Murdock empire.

[49 year old] “Craig Tamanaha was taken into custody at the West 48th Street and Sixth Avenue scene just after midnight and charged hours later with a bevy of crimes, including arson, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and trespassing, the NYPD said.
“Police officials said the fire, which was deemed international by fire marshals, caused an estimated $500,000 in property damage in addition to unnecessarily frightening anyone who happened to walk by as the stunning scene developed.”
I’m not certain why fire marshals were deeming the fire “international” — seems pretty domestic to me.
