1Without knowing the circumstances of the people we Americans are leaving behind, I’d like to know what does Cruz propose? Helicopter extraction missions to Helmand province? A land-raid for those in Mazar-i-Sharif?
Do we drag out people who “ignored” the multiple messages from the US Embassy? Refuse to leave a dual citizen who is providing care to a dying father by bringing both the citizen and the father out?

3Like so many other things, the most despicable of repugnanticans like cruz and crenshaw (and so many more like them) have chosen the proven tactic of their party- false narratives that the base eats up. Makes no difference how false they are. In fact the bigger their big lies, the more effective they are with their followers. There was never a chance that Biden following through on an agreement made by trumpf and pompous pompeo with the Taliban wouldn’t end up chaotic and a no win situation. Staying more days in Afghanistan would have led to more Isis suicide attacks. I think cutting it off and pulling out of Afghanistan a day before the August 31 deadline caught them by surprise and saved lives.
4Aside from the celebration by the Taliban when our troops were gone, did they have any reaction when Isis attacked the airport (since they are supposed to be enemies)? Or is it, the enemy of my enemy is my friend right now.
5Time zones dictate dates ,we withdrew on Aug. 31, 2021 Afgan time. Please try to understand that was not early but on time. It is also our beliefs that the Cruz is saying he not an American.

Ok, I understand. Minutes after midnight on 8/31 Afghanistan time they announced the last flight had left. Not quite a day early, but they left, finally, after 20 years of wasted lives trying to control a tribal civil war that of course will most certainly never end.
