Dan Crenshaw
I suspect that most of you are familiar with Dan Crenshaw, the congressshiver from Texas.
Once a year, members of congress are required to file a sworn statement of their personal finances so we can see who has bought them. They disclose large gifts, stocks, bonds, speaking fees, money made off of personal book sales, and other kickbacks.
They were due April 26th. Dan Crenshaw asked for a 90 day extension. And that deadline swooshed past 10 days ago.
Naturally, you gotta wonder what he’s trying to hide.

Houston Rep. Dan Crenshaw’s bestselling new book, Fortitude: American Resilience in the Era of Outrage, has been boosted by the National Republican Congressional Committee making a large bulk-order purchase.
The House GOP’s campaign arm recently spent nearly $400,000 to buy more than 25,000 copies of the freshman Republican’s tome.
So, the RNC comes in and places a large bulk order which helps to push Dan to the best seller list and Dan makes a personal kickback on every book.
Hummm … I guess he’s late with his filing because he lacks … what’s the word for it? Oh yeah, Fortitude.

These books with their inspirational titles; Political Avarice in the Era of Republican Poutrage keep trying to hit the JFK sweet spot over the fence such as,”Profiles in courage.” Hit a pop fly with a ghost written flop titled: “My Wonderful Grift in the time of RNC Dark Money.”

1I’m just guessin here, but I’m betting there’s more he’s hiding. The RNC buying books to prop up their big mouth members is a common practice. He wrote a book so he should be smart enough to fill out a report, but maybe not. Whatever, there will be no consequences for breaking rules.
2The Pentagon claims their budget is too complex to be audited. They have not met Super Numbers Man Alfredo. That would be a priceless encounter. Meanwhile election reform and talk of it is idle chatter, unless Alfredo is appointed Chairman of the FEC or at a minimum someone Alfredo would recommend is the appointee.
But shaming a QOP politician or holding them accountable? That would require replacing Merrick Garland with Ms. JJ Herownself and as many people in the DOJ with as many ladies that the WMDBS can muster.

When is the FBI going to engage? Boebert, Greene, and now Crenshaw? Not to mention the perpetually corrupt Goober Gomert.
They all need to go. Now.
4When the TX electrical grid fails next winter the so-called books supposedly by Crimeshaw would provide fuel for a few TX fireplaces anyway. GQP funded books are quite good kindling material.
(Apologies to Ray Bradberry, but culture faces destruction from published disinformation perhaps more than from book combustion.)
5People like Crenshaw feel the fact they did their duty in the military gives them carte blanch to be a dick.
We have a similar snake in Wisconsin named Derrick Van Orden who thinks intimidating people is his right.
6Oh geez, I just despise this jerk. I live in the blue end of his district, he’s beyond slimy.
7Something similar brought down the great Jim Wright, but never seems to affect guys like Crenshaw.
