Alex Jones

July 05, 2021 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

What I came to tell you about kinda slipped in under the rug because Alex Jones and Joe Budden are having a Twitter / podcast fight.  Yeah, if you’re like me – and Lord I hope so – you have to go look up who Joe Budden is. It’s a generational thing.

But, here’s my story:  Guess who the Alex Jones lawyer for the Connecticut Sandy Hook lawsuit has ask to depose?  Never in a million years would you guess it.

Hillary Clinton.

Yeah, Hillary Clinton is at fault for Alex Jones sending unbelievably horrible people to the homes and places of work of Sandy Hook parents to threaten them.

“The defendants in this case believe that this suit was filed six years after the shootings at Sandy Hook as part of a vendetta inspired, orchestrated and directed in whole or in part by Hillary Clinton as part of a vendetta to silence Alex Jones after Ms. Clinton lost the presidential race to Donald J. Trump,” the court filing reads. “The litigation is brought and pursued in bad faith as part of a partisan effort to silence Mr. Jones for reasons wholly independent of the merits of the plaintiffs’ claims.”

The last part of the article quotes my son, who filed suit in Texas on behalf of some of the parents.

  1. AJ wasn’t totally rational when I ran into him at the old ACTV days, and I don’t think he’s gotten any better since.

I have seen corkscrews straighter than that line of thinking.

I don’t think anyone, let alone Hillary Clinton, has to orchestrate and direct parents to sue Alex Jones, when not only are their kids shot dead in an elementary school, but a like Jones louse from another state publicly accuses them of lying about those being their children, sends people to threaten them, etc. I think those parents are perfectly capable of getting up a head of steam that won’t quit until they’ve squashed Jones flat in open court.

And like Teri Kanefield’s marvelous video on the bogus defenses of TrumpCo, Jones’ attorneys’ argument does not deny that Jones did bad things, but tries to claim that Clinton is clandestinely attacking him via the parents, for a purely personal and “political” reasons (like his lies about *her*.) And that her malfeasance in so doing defends him from the actual suit.

    Nope.

  3. I’m surprised that George Soros isn’t in there somewhere.

  4. BarbinDC says:

Jones realizes that all of his shenanigans regarding Sandy Hook are meant to take the focus off the desire of the Sandy Hook parents: to get the guns out of the hands of crazy people who think murdering children in school solves a damn thing. The amount of time and money spent on countering him (and, hopefully, shutting him up permanently) is doing nothing to get any closer to main goal. He is pure evil and deserves to spend the rest of his miserable life in solitary. Not that that will happen, of course.

In the meantime, sales of AR-15s continue unabated.

Just when you think they cannot stoop any lower… they do.

Of course BarbinDC is right. Any stupid thing to deflect the truth.

I’m surprised Roger Rabbit’s attorneys haven’t filed a similar suit! Why isn’t Alex Jones in the State Home in Austin?

  8. Steve from Beaverton says:

This is nuts. Understand that he has followers, you have to wonder how they function in society. How would you like to work with them? And his attorneys, they have to be on the fringe of the profession. No, they are outside the fringe of practicing law. Giuliani like.

  9. Even The Onion wouldn’t write that Alex Jones story as a humor piece. It makes no sense. There are no dots to connect.

Unless it’s about Pavlov’s dog reacting every time the name Hillary Clinton is uttered. No matter what it concerns.

BarbinDC: Anchorage Alaska has a new mayor, sworn in July 1. On his very first day he declared that Anchorage is now a “Second Amendment Sanctuary.” Yep, that’s what we need, more idiots waving guns around.

The police department is already banned from using its assets to enact any federal regulation restricting gun ownership under a state law. So this is just showboating.

  12. amusing/horrifying as this all is, why hasn’t Jones’ attorney been warned by the court, about wasting its time with utter, baseless, garbage filings? better yet, and I suspect your son would agree, this starts to border on sanctionable acts, by a licensed(?) attorney.

just a guess, but I’d put my money on the request being denied.

  13. twocrows says:

I know what this whole thing is about. It just gripes Alex Jones’ butt that Hillary Clinton has no idea who he is. So he’s on a crusade to fix that.

    Way to get your attorney sanctioned for wasting the court’s time, Alex. Your lawyer’s gonna dump you in 3 . . 2 . . 1 . . . .

  14. The Surly Professor says:

… and in related news, a “Fort Worth based” white supremacist gang decided to flash mob Philadelphia:

This is all over twitter; be sure to check the video where two guys from Philly chase over a dozen of the idjits back to their rental trucks. I said “related news”, because (a) like AJ, they are racists, (b) like AJ, they’re out of shape, and (c) also like AJ they’re yellow as mustard but without the bite.

  15. BarbinDC says:

@ The Surly Professor: Those dopes weren’t paying attention to the racial makeup of the BLM protesters last summer. Here’s a hint: they were not all Black by any means. Oh, and they might want to learn a little something about Philly before invading their city. “The City of Brotherly Love” is mostly an oxymoron, particularly their sports fans.

  16. Buttermilk Sky says:

I’m not a lawyer, so I’m genuinely asking: Can you enter an insanity defense in a civil action? Jones might as well claim Spider-Man encouraged the parents to sue him.

  18. For instance, before reading that It’d never occurred to me that “African Americans referred to themselves as such not to indicate that they were Americans of African descent, but rather Africans who happen to be in America.” ***

*** I used quotation marks even though I paraphrased some instead of quoting verbatim.
In the past after rereading some of my comments, it might not have always been clear which ones were derisively sarcastic.
