Some Quiet Time Tonight
Tonight we would ask that our customers and friends reflect on the loving kindness we feel for all those we hold dear. In the coming days, we’ll return to the good fight; in the meantime, though, please keep Juanita Jean Herownself, her beloved Bubba, and their family in your highest regard and care.
Good night to all. Peace.
My heart goes out to Juanita Jean and her family. Thank you, El Jefe, for the wonderful song and its portrayal of love between father and son. May Bubba and Susan’s sons know their dad loved them and can hold onto that love. I know personally how important my dad’s love is to me over 8 years after he passed and how I still feel it. May Susan and the children have the same retention of the love from Bubba Don as long as they live.
1We have suffered a loss. Sadness. To JJHOS, you are in our thoughts. Peace and calm and understanding. So many of us have been where you are. It is never easy. And the pain is unique to each of us. Just remember that there are legions on your side. We love you.

2We love you, Susan, and your whole family. As a reader/lurker for all these years I feel like you are all MY family too.
My heart breaks for you and grieves with each of you.
Much love and kindness to you. I hope that you will be able to find peace soon.
3I am so sorry for your loss. Sending you and yours much love and kindness.
4Lots of friendship hugs from across The Pond . 🙂
5Just beautiful Jefe.
Susan and family know you’re in our hearts and we’re sending love.
Shortly after I lost my sweet little mother 20 years ago this month Josh Groban had recorded a song that gave me some comfort. It still does.

6Read your articles for years. This is a horrible loss for you & your family. Please feel our love & respect for you all at this time.
7I have no words. There are none that will ease the pain. But we are all with you, and our hearts, thoughts and best wishes are with you.
8Ms Bankston, I’m so sorry for your loss of your lifemate. And sorry for our country’s loss of the righteous fighter described in his obituary. Thank you from Wisconsin for Jaunita Jean.

Sad to lose a tough fighter for liberty, but I’m positive the words and deeds of your family have inspired a great many people to carry on the fight.
10When I die, I want this played at my funeral.
11This is hard to hear. Thanks to Bubba Don for fighting the good fight for basic human rights and humanity. May his family have nothing but good memories, and may his memory inspire the rest of us to finish what he started. My sincere condolences.
