I like lists. They keep me from going to the grocery store and buying 115 items, none of which are the one thing I came to get.
We now have a list of the people (cough, cough) serving in congress who think it’s okay to kill police officers, try to kill members of congress, and wreck the capitol while trying to overthrow the United States.
Here is a handy, nifty little list of the congress varmints who voted against awarding the Congressional Gold Medal to Capitol Police and those who protected the Capitol on Jan 6
.
Texas is star spangled screwed because we have two people on the list — Louie Gohmert and Lance Gooden. ON EDIT: I stand corrected. We also have Michael Cloud from the Victoria area. So, we have won the trifecta – three Texas congressfools are trying to rewrite history that we saw with our own eyes.
.
For his part Louie is all bent outta upright over the dead sold guaranteed fact that the event was insurrection. I think he wanted to call it a Sunday Baptist picnic invaded by ants, but I’m not sure that’s the exact wording he wanted. But it was something like that.
.
We should be even prouder, because we actually have three (3) Congresscritters on that list: Gohmert, Cloud and Godden.
1Ya missed on, Michael Cloud is my Congresscoward over here in Victoria……He’s easy to miss, so ya may have to back your truck up and try again
2Thanks guys, Cloud flew passed me this morning. I edited it.
3Not surprised by the likes of gaetz, greene, biggs, goober being on such a list of distinguished members of congress.
4Distinguished by how repugnant they are.
Hope the press hounds them in the halls of congress for their explanation so their constituents know who they sent to represent them.
Louie? Last seen he was at a fruit stand looking for asparagus, when someone accidentally watered him.
5Massie is my congressperson. My apologies to America. This guy is against motherhood and puppies. But he hates abortion, so we keep electing him.
6Thank goodness none of the Texans are my representative. But still, I’m so tired of them embarrassing me!
7I’m sorry, Texas, but the House Judiciary Committee is holding a hearing on violence against Asian Americans and another of your Congresscritters, Chip Roy, decided it was time to put in a word for lynching. You may want to check the water supply before drinking any more of it.
8Congress varmints never do anything they don’t believe will profit them in some way. So what does this tell us about what they think of their constituents? That they’re anti-democracy AND they voted for these **ahem** “people”?
9I’m stunned at the absence of a few names: Boebert (from my state), Cawthorn and Gosar, to start with. Among the older guard, Jordan and Nunes.
10Hell, I’m surprised that Miss Lindsay wasnt on this list.
11Texas’ 27th US District, now held by Rep Michael Cloud [R-27], is the district that was custom gerrymandered [eff. 2012] by the TX Lege for good ol’ Blake Farenthold, after he upset the useless long-term Democrat Sol. Ortiz in 2010 [I voted for him from district creation in 1982 on].
It used to run from Brownsville to Corpus Christi, 1982-2010, and was 70%+ Hispanic [was solid ‘Dem’, but for the turnout ‘problem’].
The wildly gerrymandered 27th now runs from the edge of Kingsville, Corpus, Rockport, Bay City, Victoria, to nearly Freeport/Katy/Houston, with a big arm jutting up to above Lockhart nearly to Austin.

12So help me it sounds like every one of them goes around hauling a fainting couch behind them while tiwsting their pearls.
