Texas Has Another Senator
Our other Senator, John Cornyn, had some tasty words for OMB Director nominee Neera Tanden.

When I watched Cornyn say this last night, I yelled “Bullshit!” at the TV. He supported four years of Trump doing these very things. The hypocrisy within the GOP has reached unbelievable heights.Or depths, however you want to view it.
1What’s sauce for the gander is apparently not OK for the goose. Your boy Donnie did exactly what you’re accusing Ms. Tanden of doing, for every one of his four years in office–that that’s all OK? Sit down, John, and shut up.
2Speaking out both sides of the mouth is an art form for the entire repugnantican party. Cornyn tries to act so self righteous and thinks he’s a statesman.

4They’ve followed f**king trump so far down into the sewer, their plan is to throw as much sh*t at Democrats as they can, claiming they just got dragged down there by the slimy socialists, kicking and screaming all the way. THAT’S how they got so much on themselves.
5It looks good to their base, who like it down there.
They sure as hell can’t crawl out without showing the world they dove in to begin with. I’m expecting a lot more of that than usual, without trump thrashing around drawing all the attention.
And of course there’s the other thing.
Ms. Tanden is massively qualified, and apparently very effective or she wouldn’t be as trusted as she is by Democratic leadership. She’s considered one of the main architects of Obamacare. And she’s apparently unabashedly outspoken, AND closely associated with Hillary, so repugnantcans definitely think she’s icky.
But she’s all of those things while being a woman, and that’s just a bridge too far.
As if anyone should pay ANY attention to what either of the (dis)honorable senators from the great state of Texas has to say.

And yet, somehow, he was willing to vote for Mick Mulvaney to be head of the OMB. Didn’t offer his advice to *resident Trump, I guess.
11As an Oregonian born, and a Virgin Islander by choice, I cannot fathom where Texans uproot so many assholes… And then send them off to Congress (seemingly in hopes of changing the name to Regress). Do you excavate landfills to find these wankers?
