Head of White House Security in Hospital 3 Months; It’s Not Over

December 16, 2020 By: El Jefe Category: Coronavirus, Trump

The head of the WH security office, Crede Bailey, in the hospital for 3 months with what’s described at an extreme case of COVID-19, has survived, but required amputation of his lower right leg and big toe on the left foot.  He is now facing staggering hospital bills and a Go Fund Me page has been started.  Apparently a big Trump supporter, Bailey’s family has refused to talk to the press about his case and the WH press office declines to discuss his case.  I wonder where he could have possibly been infected.

Let’s see here, a more-than-low-level WH employee, who presumably contracted this illness at work, and presumably has coverage under one of those good Gummint health plans, and who is (or at least, was) a “big Trump supporter”, has to do Go Fund Me to pay medical bills? How many things are wrong with this picture?

el legarto – exactly. Why the heck isn’t his ‘fabulous boss’ paying for it?

Shows how much Trumpf cares about people that actually work for a living and aren’t mouthpieces for him. The Giulianis, Carsons, crime family members get the magic cocktail and best hospital care free while this loyal employee got the shaft for working around WH deniers to keep them safe.

el legarto. Are we even sure this guy is a government employee and not a private contractor? Remembering that Trump hired private security even though the Secret Service was assigned to him during his candidacy, and Eric Prince is one of his strong supporters.

At any rate, it IS wrong for him to bear the whole cost of his illness, which resulted from this president’s determination to downplay the pandemic, refuse to wear a mask, refuse social distancing, refuse medical relief to those in need.

  5. Another good reason to establish employer immunity for COVID negligence, right? Dose your employees- it could get expensive. Best nip that in the bud.

  6. I heard on MSNBC that his job as head of White House security was deciding who got to enter there White House.

  7. Trump has been saying since April (or sooner) he has a fantastic health care plan ready to go, it will replace the ACA, and he’ll reveal the details in 2 weeks. WaPo has a video of how many times he stated this in front of the cameras. I think about 19 times?

Now we find out, his incredible health care plan is Go Fund Me.

  8. Wher ehe could have been infected. Pick one, any one place with unmasked people. since te virus isn’t picky, anyone’s guess is as good as another.

  9. “Crede beat COVID-19 but it came at a significant cost…”

Apparently, Crede hasn’t died, yet, but I’d hardly put this one in the “W” column for Crede.

  10. Poor man. Too much to expect his “billionaire” boss to toss a few bucks in to help?

  11. Trump pulled healthcare support for his very ill nephew, no one should expect him to help this guy out.

  12. It’s obvious why the WH is refusing to issue a statement. They’ve been saying, all year, that as soon as the election was over, no one in government would ever mention covid again.

    And, voila!

Um, hold up there — it was the Democrats who weren’t supposed to mention it. And fake news.

    Oops.

Well, who are the Republicans to argue with the facts that it’s not being mentioned any more?

    Oh, wait . . . .

  13. I was just musing about all the people that have been shed by the White House since Inauguration Day 4 years ago. Its a helluva lot. The attitude of the boss man at the WH reminds me of that old very ancient pagan ritual of stuffing live people into a gigantic “straw man” and then setting it on fire. Nuff said.
